I understand your idea blueram but I don't think we can risk it due to potential foul trouble. We need Berry OR Langevine on the floor. Putting them in together is a big risk. That's kind of interesting. I've thought Stan would be the logical guy there just because he kind of plays Iverson's position to some extent, but whoever is there has to be a pretty good target, tall enough to see and throw out of a collapsing zone, a good enough ball handler to be a threat to put it on the floor and get to the rim, and a good enough shooter that they have to respect you there. Plus be able to set the high ball screen on occasion. It's a pretty specific kind of role. I also wonder if EC could do it, aside from him not being the world's foremost passer. But I don't think he's unwilling to move the ball. Akele could also do it for limited stretches if they need him in the game on the other end of the floor. Same here, very curious to see how we handle it this time around. I have no idea how much they have practiced it and who they have had practice that position/role in a zone, so maybe they won't just throw Jeff in that spot tomorrow if he's never done it before. They're both young, and more importantly, healthy. I don't have any concern about their minutes.
