Who would you want to see start in place of EC due to his Injury?
Assuming the rest of the Starting Line Up remains the same with Langevine, Berry, Terrell and Dowtin: Who would you want to see start in place of EC due to his Injury?

There are only 2 choices, right? I'll take Jarvis.

.....I think Stan is the best choice to fill the point production in place of EC.....what I often want to see is not what coach does.....

Garrett was very good as a sophomore in EC's absence and looks like he's back to normal, so I'd like to see what he can do
Take down the Robert Carothers banner and fix the concession stand lines

I'm more interested in the trickle down effect. With either Jarvis or Stan starting, that leaves only 2 guards on the bench. So my trickle down effect question would be, how many minutes will Fatts get now?

I picked Jarvis because I am more confident in his shooting. But I understand starting Stan too. Fatts will get 20 min a game

I think Jarvis because I don't think we would want both small guards coming in together off the bench. Too many matchup problems on D

Got to be Jarvis. Let Stan add spark off bench. It will also allow him to minimize fouls. Otherwise our first two guards off the bench are 6’ or less. Not much flexibility with that.

And it turns out both Garrett and Robinson start due to injuries to Mathews AND Langevine

Yeah interesting that we start the 4 guards , looks like that will be the case until Cyril returns

It won't work against Seton Hall. They'vc e got a big lineup with Delgado upfront. I'm thinking Akele and Preston see major minutes.reef wrote:Yeah interesting that we start the 4 guards , looks like that will be the case until Cyril returns

Yeah they've gotta play more.Rhody74 wrote:It won't work against Seton Hall. They'vc e got a big lineup with Delgado upfront. I'm thinking Akele and Preston see major minutes.reef wrote:Yeah interesting that we start the 4 guards , looks like that will be the case until Cyril returns
Akele has quietly been playing well the last two games.
Laysaard sure has looked good when he's played.
It's been garbage time, but still, he looks good enough to get some more time.
Maybe because he's just as bad on D as Berry and not as good offensively.

In watching the last 3 minutes of yesterday’s game I would not say Layssard was bad on defense. He partially blocked a 3 point shots from the top of the key that’s for some reason was not recorded in the stats, and he did not get beat to the hoop by anyone. He scored 2 buckets, ran the floor well.PeterRamTime wrote:Yeah they've gotta play more.Rhody74 wrote:It won't work against Seton Hall. They'vc e got a big lineup with Delgado upfront. I think Layssard played well enough to earn more minutes. Akele, too, if, as Dan said, he didn't foul everyone in the building.

He was playing against Holy Cross reserves. I think there is a huge talent level gap between HC reserves and Seton Hall’s starters.ramster wrote:In watching the last 3 minutes of yesterday’s game I would not say Layssard was bad on defense.
