Re: Where Are They Now? Former Player Results and News
Does anyone know if Dowtin did actually grow a couple inches or is this photo some type of optical illusion
because his body in the photo does measure taller than EC and a slope wouldn't affect that. I guess if Dowtin was
slightly more forward than the others he could appear larger. I hope the answer is he grew two or three inches
which theoretically could be possible.

Re: Where Are They Now? Former Player Results and News
Well EC is listed at 6'5 and JD at 6'3 so from the looks of this pic JD may have grown to 6'6 as he looks about at least 2 inches taller than EC

The ground is not level in the picture you are referring to making JD look, taller and EC look shorter than reality.reef wrote:Well EC is listed at 6'5 and JD at 6'3 so from the looks of this pic JD may have grown to 6'6 as he looks about at least 2 inches taller than EC
This more "Even ground" pic gives a better perspective

Damn, Dowtin shrank.

Delroy James is playing for Team Fancy in the TBT.
They advanced to the Sweet 16 on Saturday by beating a Villanova alumni team.
James scored 21 points in the Round 2 contest and added 8 rebounds.
He was the high scorer in their Game 1 victory as well.
Team Fancy next plays on Thursday, July 20th, at 7PM on ESPN2.
Their opponent will be the Syracuse alumni featuring the likes of Devendorf, CJ Fair, etc.
For those who don't know, the TBT is a winner-take-all tournament featuring 64 teams playing for their share of $2 million.

Leroy Butts never played a game here, but he was a recruit. I read a story about couple of days ago that he was shot several times during a home invasion and was fighting for his life. Very sad story.

Not sure where A10 news like this goes, but is of interest. These 2 guys end up much closer to home.

These two guys were the really high profile much heralded players that Kellogg got (especially 4star Jarreau). Didn't last long in Amherst and didn't do much while there (all be it they were just freshmen).

Re: Where Are They Now? Former Player Results and News
Yep. I would have thought one or both of these guys could have made the A10 All Freshmen Team but neither did. Was it them? Was it Kellogg? Was it a lack of team chemistry? Combination?
But for sure Jarreau did not meet expectations of a 4 Star, ESPN Nationally Ranked #63 Player

Re: Where Are They Now? Former Player Results and News
No worries. Leroy's father is named "Leroy Butts Sr." so the article mentions Leroy Butts Sr. I made the same assumption when I first read it, but after speaking to a few people, they confirmed it was his brother, and not Leroy who has committed here a few years back.Billyboy78 wrote:Oh, I'm sorry. I'm convinced there's poetry to be found in translated tweets. This one translates to:
Kings team unveils first round from 8 days to go! Every day has been practicing in earnest.
The offer shows just a little bit.

Billy and X on the watered down team USA.
