Game 3: Brown
Kenpom.com says Rhody will win 86-65, with a 97% win confidence for the Rams.
Difference in Adjusted Defensive efficiency is dramatic:
Brown ranks 296th
URI ranks 24th
Offensive efficiency doesn't do much for the Bears either:
Brown ranks 227th
URI ranks 44th
This will be another bloodbath tuneup for Cincinnati. No doubt.

Re: Game 3: Brown
I'm thinking Brown will be more of a challenge than Marist and Dartmouth, but a 20 pt win is a reasonable expectation.

I really hope we throughly beat this brown team, I'm tired of close games.

The average margin of our games so far is +32.5?

Think he meant close games with Bruno the past few years.

Maybe, but if that's what he meant then he should have used some words that meant that.

The current line is URI -24.5, I am taking Brown that's a lot of points. Hopefully URI wins by 22

Dear Producer/Director of the Live Streams:
It would be great if you could avoid using the under-the-basket angle, it's an awful viewing experience.
Please and thank you.
Sincerely,
Keaney Blue
PS If it's not too much to ask, would also be great if coming out of dead balls or stoppages you could join the action before it starts versus the ads showing. Seem to miss a few seconds in each instance.

Re: Game 3: Brown
things I am looking for tonight:
1) a quicker start (not as bad against Marist but still took a few minutes)
2) Extended minutes for starters (looking for them around the 28 min of playing time)
3) More 2nd team offense earlier in the game

Point 2 will be interesting to monitor. Big game on Saturday, poor facilities to recover from bangs and bruises, and Cincinnati is off until then. Need our guys rested.twisted3829 wrote:things I am looking for tonight:

Re: Game 3: Brown
I'm agreed with 104....Hurley's gotta be thinking about Saturday when it comes to the starters minutes. Saturday will mark their 4th game in 8 days with a potential monster game Sunday. This could be a good game to get an extended evaluation of some bench guys.

Re: Game 3: Brown
I expect a 25-30 point win, with us putting up between 80-90. Read the Brown coach's comments about them not being a very good defensive team yet. We will exploit that pretty heavily, IMO. Spieth is legit for them, really solid player. Happy to see Koukamensah graduate, that guy destroyed us on both ends for a few years.

Re: Game 3: Brown
.......I would like to us get a little challenge from Brown......experience a little adversity......and use that as head and gut check that will be needed against Cincy....if this happens we probably do not cover....maybe Brown will hang in there after some of our spurts and not go away so Easily.....coming out of this will help us Saturday.....Coach, I think will have team ready for this.....

Game video frozen but the clock is moving in the right hand corner. No audio. There are sixth graders I know that could do a better job than this. Truly amateur hour!!!

After having good luck with the stream the first two games, my stream here isn't so much a stream as it is a still photo of everyone standing around at the 12:02 mark.

Something to think about..... if COX is no longer doing games how do they get the Ad on the hoops? Shouldn't it be adidas logo? Or are those the old ones and waiting for new ones to come in?

I wondered that to. I assume they just have nothing to replace it with. IRhodysk wrote:Something to think about..... if COX is no longer doing games how do they get the Ad on the hoops? Shouldn't it be adidas logo? Or are those the old ones and waiting for new ones to come in?

Really like what I'm seeing out of Langevine. He has all the physical tools and can really get up and down the court. He's a little raw but I love his upside.
