Is he still 5'7"? If so, he's probably a long shot to get regular minutes. Still though, nice to have depth. Weird stats site though - They keep track of FT made, but not FT missed?

It's like a regular walk-on, meaning no scholarship, but he's assured a roster spot. Eric Youncofski was one.Billyboy78 wrote:What is a preferred walkon?

Basically what ace said, but another way of thinking about it is a recruited walk-on, as opposed to a guy that just shows up at open tryouts.Billyboy78 wrote:What is a preferred walkon?

I wouldn't say very low, but it's certainly not the best. The conference does have St. Joseph where Tyus Battle (Syracuse commit) and Breein Taylor (Ole Miss commit, I think) play. Dadika was a 1000 point scorer and made the all-conference team. And, to the above question about his height- he can dunk, so probably not 5'7". Unless he's Spud Webb 2.0 (which would be awesome).Rhody Guy wrote:Impressive stats, I am assuming against very low competition

Saw him listed at 6'2" and also 5'7" - that's quite a spread.
Also looked to have a weird looking shot, or maybe it was the angle.

This doesn't look anywhere near the level Eric played at during his high school or AAU days....

Wow! Walk on what?
Read his tweets. Now, that's the kinda guy I want representing my program.
Preferably, not.

Can't always go by what a kid tweets.
Nobody had worse tweets than Hassan.
I think he worked out OK.

I believe Eric is the son of former Rutgers guard Rich Dadika, who could light up from deep. Rich played against URI back in the late 1980's.
