Even beyond the EC loss...I still think the inability to have consistent stretches of practice time with all the guys that were going to be used in the games played a huge part as well. No uniform stretches of practice...hard to get better (even people who've watched the game since before dirt was invented should know that). Wonder how many times they had to rely on a guy in a game that hadn't practiced all week?
Kudos to the players and staff for getting through it as well as they did.
How many more games would URI have won with EC all year?

All of this is true and it makes for a more compelling case for thinking losing EC cost us 8-10 games. But it is also intangible. Even ignoring intangibles, tangibly EC's injury cost us at least a half dozen games, if not more.NYGFan_Section208 wrote:Even beyond the EC loss...I still think the inability to have consistent stretches of practice time with all the guys that were going to be used in the games played a huge part as well.
