I could care less what the other teams in the A-10 do these days.

Chris really knows his stuff.

Wonder what he really thinks about the situation here. He would never tell......he's too close to Dan.

Interesting you bring this up....because we all know exactly what you think.
And, if Chris thinks the same thing as you...I don't possibly see how he and Dan could be 'close'...

So, my guess is that Chris thinks something different than you do?
And, if he really "knows his stuff"... not sure what that says...?

I don't see how Chris' earned respect from Dan and his staff, and staff of dozens/hundreds of D1 hoop programs would somehow be an issue. If that's what was meant by "close to Dan", it's a non-issue.

I think Chris has a solid record of providing balanced analysis across the A10, and his proximity/focus on Rhody can only be seen as a benefit for URI fans.

@Rambone78, do YOU know Chris and/or Dan? I would think that would be necessary before spouting off that kind of accusation.

Looking back at the Preseason Coaches Selections compared to DiSano's selections after 10 of 18 games played:
1st Team - DiSano vs Preseason Coaches
Jack Gibbs - Davidson - First Team Coaches
DeAndre' Bembry - St Joe - First Team Coaches
Melvin Johnson - VCU - 3rd Team Coaches
Isaiah Miles - St Joe - NONE
Tyler Cavanaugh - GW - NONE

2nd Team - DiSano vs Preseason Coaches
Terry Allen - Richmond - 3rd Team Coaches
Charles Cooke - Dayton - NONE
Jalen Adams - St Bonaventure - NONE
Dion Wright - St Bonaventure - NONE
Micah Mason - Duquesne - NONE

3rd Team - DiSano vs Preseason Coaches
Marcus Posley - St Bonaventure - 2nd Team Coaches
Patricio Gariino - George Washington - 2nd Team Coaches
DyShawn Pierre - Dayton - NONE
Jarvis Garrett - Rhode Island - NONE
JaQuan Lewis - VCO - NONE

DiSano HM (Honorable Mention) Players through 10 Games - 13 Players:
Jordan Price - LaSalle - 1st Team Coaches
Scootchie Smith - Dayton - 2nd Team Coaches
Kevin Larsen - George Washington - 2nd Team Coaches
Shevon Thompson - George Mason - 2nd Team Coaches
ShawnDre' Jones - Richmond - 3rd Team Coaches

Trey Davis - UMASS
Donte Clark - UMASS
Derrick Colter - Duquesne
Cline - Richmond
Mandel Thomas - Fordham
Ryan Rhoomes - Fordham
Peyton Aldridge - Davidson
Brian Sullivan - Dayton

Not on Any DiSano Team or HM Players
EC Mathews - 1st Team - Rhode Island
Hassan Martin - 1st Team - Rhode Island
Kendall Pollard - 3rd Team - Dayton
Mo Alie Cox - 3rd Team - VCU

2 on 1st Team, 4 on 2nd Team and 3 on 3rd Team for DiSano were not on ANY of the 3 Coaches Teams = 9 out of 15 for DiSano were not on any Coaches Team.
Coaches missed badly on Transfer Tyler Canavaugh - 1st Team, Isaiah Miles - 1st Team and Transfer Charles Cook - 2nd Team

Coaches also missed on EM Mathews - 1st Team (hurt does not really count), Hassan Martin - 1st Team(not on DiSano's teams or HM players, Kendall Pollard - 3rd Team (not on DiSano's Teams or HM players) and Mo Alie Cox - 3rd Team ((not on DiSano's Teams or HM players)

Still 8 games to go so time for some players to make their move to one of these 3 teams.
Personally I think Hassan Martin has a big last 8 games. He was injured and has been coming on strong in recent games - no way I count him out and I think he should have been listed in the 13 HM players.
Jared Terrell could also make a move to be on all conference team. I also would have had him listed among the 13 HM players.

I am waiting for an actual honor to put on the shelf (as in the weekly awards because that's all he can get at this moment in time). Not a you're on track to potentially get one at a future point in time if you continue to do well.
