Hey, I'm happy for Jarelle. He seems like a really good kid. The stage was just too big for him here. He never seemed comfortable. He seems to be in the perfect situation (for him) now. Good for him.

Thanks for posting Ace. I found this interesting that he is playing Point Guard and this is where his future NBA future could be:

From an offensive perspective, Munford might be the most well-rounded point guard in the D-League based on his skills as a facilitator and incredible offensive efficiency.
Those skills were well displayed on Bakerfield's battle against Maine. Despite losing to the Red Claws, Munford showed off that solid offensive skill-set as he had an 18 point and 11 assist on 6-14 shooting outing. While not hitting a single three-pointer, Munford displayed an ability to finish around the rim in traffic. Alongside that, Munford only forced one turnover, which was probably the best thing that he could've done in front of a handful of NBA scouts.

It would be great if he could just earn a 10 day contract with someone. He's turned down international opportunities, with guaranteed money, to try and get it this way. Hope it works out for him.

Try to follow this report on the Detroit/Houston/Philly 3-way trade . . . could Philly's hilarious ineptitude create a situation that could give Xavier a cup of coffee? I mean, Philly is almost an NBA team - it would be as close as a Rhody guy has got in a while.

Gotta tip your hat to him. He's burned a couple years of making some good money in Europe trying to latch on in the NBA. It's not an easy road trying toiling in the D-league. Hope he makes it even for just a cup of coffee.

Really hope it works out for him. I've got a buddy, Antoine Agudio, who lead the country in scoring one year while at Hofstra, he played overseas a little bit but has spent the last 5 years with the same D league team and no call ups. A few years ago I spoke with him and he said he was going back to Europe to cash in but that never happened...

Hopefully X fares better, so far it seems like he's on the right track.

Glad to see he is getting his cup of coffee. A huge moment for any kid that grew up loving the game.
