And the fear of missing out on recruits due to NOT being a Nike or Under Armor school seems to have not been such an issue in practice so far. Hurley seems able to cut through these snags that lesser coaches/staffs/programs may not be able to overcome.

Home uniforms look great. They will look even greater in Brooklyn with a high seed, and I know I'm dreaming a little, when we get a great seed at the dance.

True. It seems worse than ever now though. Seems like 80 percent of college football teams have Nike. Everyone seems to want to get rid of their addias stuff and get Nike.
Addidas' uniforms just aren't as cool looking.

Not a huge uni guy - but I would be excited if they had road alternate jerseys with the hot yellow icing. A true throw back.

That's funny, their new coach specifically said HAVOC was out. They've always looked like the Buffalo Wild Wings house team, especially their warmups last year.

You have that wrong, Will Wade said in his introductory press conference that "Havoc still lives here" - although he's recruiting a different type of player than Shaka did.

Bad. Don't like them. URI can't find a "uniform" uniform...if that makes sense. Stick with a nice-looking uniform at least for a few years. Changing the look does nothing and hurts URI's branding.

I do agree that finding a look and sticking to it would be best. Maybe they are hesitant to do that right now since the adidas days are numbered?

I've been calling for this for some time now

Need to rebrand the entire university and be consistent across all/most sports

I'd select a great looking font also.. For all sports ala UCONN or something along those lines

Just a thought - maybe when/if Nike comes along

ECR, see earlier posts on the Nike/Adidas relationship. Don't expect to leave Adidas when the contract expires. It's not as much as a no-brainer decision as many believe.

If you're LVille, Kentucky, Duke, etc., then changing the uniform for them is no big deal. They already have their brand, people know them, and Duke will be Duke even if their uniforms were pink and had tutu's for shorts.

URI needs a consistent look, a consistent color, consistent font, consistent school symbol...and most importantly, CONSISTENT PLAY ON THE COURT.

the 9 games are listed that they will carry - largely the least desirable of our match-ups since the rest of them were picked up by national networks. 6 out of conference games, 3 a10 games.

Agree. Might have something to do with the lighting, plus the fact that you're getting a more dynamic view of them in motion versus as stills. I also think more of them now than I did from the photos.

We have only seen the home whites...hopefully they have an alternate this year like the sleeve ones.....our uniform game has always been weak...
