I am very disappointed that the Stanford game won't be at URI.

I wish they made us the 2 and Stanford the 3. Imagine if Stanford had to come to the Ryan Center? That would have been entertaining. 17 years of pent up fan frustration to be let out.

Went from excitement of getting the home game to "f'ing Stanford" in1 second while my sister said "motherf**kers" and picked up the closest item nearest to her and hucked it at the TV. Luckily it was a hat and did no damage.

If Stanford gets knocked out and URI advances, Rhody would host another game. UC-Davis is just a bit west of Sacramento and not all that far from Palo Alto. It will be a big deal for them to play Stanford. You can be sure they will want to win.

Richmond is now added to my teams I dislike and especially Kendall Anthony, who is an uglier version of Kevin Hart and possibly shorter.

As much as I want revenge on Stanford, this is a royal f...ing. Emotinally and physically drained team that needs to play in two days on Tues and if we win, travel across the country for a game on Thursday. I wonder how many of the glory teams traveled across country and won that game. Compare that to Richmond, who is home for all.

This format is beyond stupid. The bottom line is that they want a Pac 10 team in Madison Square Garden.

Well first off I don't think the game would be Thursday, where did you see that? I see Round 2 as being Friday-Monday, so for all we know it could be Monday.

Went on GORHODY and they're not selling tickets yet.
Iona is a wild team, with some really fine players.
The good news is, they don't play much defense.
Should be a fun game.
Who the hell wants to go to the West coast to get screwed playing Stanford?
Whose bright idea was that?

I'm jacked. I hope my noodle voice is gone by Tuesday. The nice thing about our program right now is that this is EXCITING. Freshman/Sophomore teams SHOULD be in this tournament. This is how you get better. This is how you build for the future. This tourney isn't for veteran teams with a terrible coach trying to pad their win totals. I AM SO IN LOVE WITH EVERYTHING URI RIGHT NOW.

Also great for TJ and Gil who have shown what seniors should look like on the floor these last few games..awesome for them to get some post season play.

Let's get back to NYC in a couple weeks. F train to Jay Street for Pacos Tacos shots.

Really?
Also, went on GO RHODY after they sent an email to go ahead and order.
To order additional tickets, you have to wait and call the box office
tomorrow.

Prices look good if they are accurate.....we advertise the heck out of this we might actually fill the lower tier......$20 and $10

Season ticket holders of course need to step up with students gone, this should be a decent game against a good team.

Iona will really be tough. If they were in the dance they'd be threatening to do some Cinderella shit. But they aren't going to like going against our defense.
We are probably in the easiest bracket. Still there are some good teams in this tournament. All of the one seeds except Richmond are tournament teams in my eyes. Especially Colorado State and Temple. No question. Miami destroyed Duke at Duke!

At $10 tix pricepoint we need to work the local High School athletic depts selling a fun night out.....

Wish there was a way to give freebies to local kids but I believe NIT controls all tickets distribution not URI am I correct?

I don't believe group sales can be done it's $10 or you don't get in the building....??
