We've always been a late arriving crowd. Should be a big walk- up sales game. Also, people don't feel-yet-that advanced tickets are needed for our games. That will soon change. It'll be a sellout.

I bought two tickets in the 200's and going to my first game all year, with a almost 4 month old it made going to any games this year nearly impossible but this game is too big to miss and we need to get this place loud tonight!

So is that 600+ tickets remaining not including the 1,500 student allotment? So essentially we have roughly 5,500 tickets sold so far?

So close to being the sickest thing ever.

Why the sleeves!?

My only concern being that it will affect how they shoot. DJ said in the video that they used em in shoot arounds last night and it was fine, so as long as they're good with it - let's go.

Geez, RR2, you didn't think THE BIG LEG DROP was a scientific
wrestling move? Shocking!

As for sleeves, who wants to see sweaty pits?
Back when, the players went thought warmups in the long
warmup pants and the matching jackets.
Don't see how having tee-shirt sleeves is going to bother anyone's
shot.
The 1964-65 PC team went 24-2 with sleeves. Some guy named Walker
could shoot pretty well.

The more I look up about this game...the better I feel.

If you just look at points allowed defense they've only played 3 games against top 50 scoring defenses. Virginia(1), Richmond (loss @)and Richmond (home win)(46).

We are #17.

They aren't a very good road team - though they won at the Mullins center - UMass' defense is garbage, and their fan support is non-existent. Not going to be what the Ryan Center will be tonight.

Their defense doesn't force a lot of turnovers, and they're not big inside.

Slow down their shooting, force TO's, win big.

Players are creatures of habit, we've never played a game shooting with sleeves on, I dont think this is a point to be easily dismissed.
Lets hope its a non factor and our defense carries us to another big win.

It would be a very Baron move to blame sleeves. It would also be the sign of a mentally weak team. Sleeves are not an excuse.

If the players were going to be effected by the sleeves, we wouldn't be wearing them. Period. No way Hurley would let something like that happen. It's a non-factor.

What was the point of switching to sleeves for this game, is there an actual reason or meaning to it? It would have looked better anyways IMO with the pink just embroidered around the normal cutoff jerseys

someday, we will have a crowd that arrives on time. RI is not that big a state (love high quality stream compared to the horribleness of watching what was on the in arena board. remember to elephants blocking key game moments?)
