Re: '20 MD SG Earl Timberlake
PC will now be directly competing with UConn and Dan for 4 star recruits.....could be bloody.

Re: '20 MD SG Earl Timberlake
Good luck to them there. Dan/UConn will mop the floor with them. He probably would have, anyways, but now that UConn is heading back to the BE it will be like the old days of PC eating UConn’s leftovers. Every once and a while that works out, like with Ryan Gomes, but UConn is the big dog in that league again before they are even officially in it, and the big dog eats first.rambone 78 wrote: ↑4 years ago PC will now be directly competing with UConn and Dan for 4 star recruits.....could be bloody.
I think everyone except maybe Villanova is going to come to regret letting UConn back in. I’m sure they’ll have fun spending the money but the league goes thru Storrs now - hell, it did even when the league was in its heyday before it was comprised of the second and third tiers of the old league.

Well I would agree with that TP...since Dan has already proven he can win in the NCAA tourney, unlike Cooley whose one win was a gift.
I think it's going to take at least a couple years for Dan to get UConn deep into the tourney though. That remains to be seen.
Getting to that 2nd weekend is tough...of course we should have done that except for the refs and the injury to Hass.

Sounds like PC and Seton Hall got “out conferenced”
“For the past three years, I’ve played in the best basketball league in the country, so it’s only right that my journey continues to the next level, playing in the best college basketball league in the country," Timberlake said in his video announcement, referring to the Atlantic Coast Conference.

Figured I'd bump this since he's in the portal. Don't know if we'd get back in the mix, but obviously he knows a lot of guys on our team.
