I thought the kid with the 'Fro was him haha. Well there goes competing with Justin Tillman for best hair in the A-10...

But...50% is nothing to shake a stick at, and he's got great size for an SG.

Nolley with a game high 22 points, 9 rebounds to continue to lead his surprising team now to the Semifinals of the 32 team tournament beating a #1 region seed. A big overtime win complete with a big fight post game between fans of the schools with police and ambulance brought in.
Good to see us get in on kids like this early as he is only a Junior and rising fast. And still growing.

My guess is ARD is the lead recruiter on this one.

Big upside here......

Nolly's Team was a 3 seed in the region (8 groups of 4 form the 32 team Championship Bracket). So it is amazing that Langston Hughes has gotten to the Championship Game. They will play Brunswick which was a 1-seed in their Region for the Championship Saturday night 8pm at U of Georgia.
Nolly has carried the team on his back. His 3 point shooting and rebounding have been his strengths. He is only a Junior :!:

(Boys) Langston Hughes 59, Allatoona 57: Landers Nolley carried the Panthers from beyond the arc and poured in a game-high 34 points to beat Allatoona for the second time this season. Derrick Cook added 15 points in support. Trey Doomes paced the Buccaneers with 31.

Landers Nolley had 26 points, 6 rebounds, 4 blocks and 4 steals to lead his team to the 6A State Championship. 32 teams from 8 regions seeded 1-4 from each Regional. Langston Hughes was seeded only 3rd from their Regional so the odds of them winning the entire Championship were small. SO there were 8 One Seeds, 8 Two Seeds, 8 Three Seeds and 8 Four Seeds. Brunswick was a One Seed.
Nolley has a strong all around game with a solid 3 point shot.

Nolley is only a Junior.

Landers was a player we were in to see quite some time ago but interesting to see how his recruiting has gone.

He has caught attention in the recruiting world by starting with an NCAA type grid of 32 teams and gradually reduced to a Final 4
Illinois is considered the favorite to land Nolley, Virginia Tech 2nd favorite but who knows

This weekend at Virginia Tech with the huge VaTech Clemson game going on. Michael Vick may be there to meet and greet these recruits. PC recuit David Duke could easily be wowed by this environment.

Courtesy of Team Loaded
ESPN's College GameDay is headed to Blacksburg this weekend and while all eyes will be on whether the Hokies can give Dabo Swinney’s second-ranked Clemson squad its first loss of the season, Buzz Williams will be doing his very best to better his standing with a plethora of elite talent from the East Coast. David Duke and Landers Nolley, the Hokies’ top remaining targets in the 2018 class, will head to campus for an official visit. Virginia Tech is a major darkhorse with Duke and having recently enrolled good friend and former travel and high school teammate,
Wabissa Bede, does not hurt its cause. Nolley heads to Virginia Tech, a program that should be seen as the favorite for him as his commitment is expected within the next 10 days. Along with the four-star duo will be Jarren McCallister, an already committed swingman, and Trey McGowans, a blossoming combo guard from North Carolina. Future talent including five-star big man Armando Bacot, and Rivals150 juniors Casey Morsell, Deuce Dean and Anthony Harris will all be on campus Saturday.

He committed to Georgia yesterday and reports today say he has decommitted and still undecided. Georgia and Va Tech had been thought to be the leaders.

Nolley could still follow suit and decide on Georgia a second time just as Harrick did.

The Nolley situation could effect both URI and PC. Nolley had Georgia and Va Tech as possibilities. URI target Adams has Georgia on his short list and PC target Duke has Va Tech.

Per 247 Landers official visit to UGA was Oct 6th. Guessing he got sold and made decision on emotion on Oct 7th. Parents probably pulled him back to reality. His de-commit tweet “after talking and discussing my future with my parents I think it is best to de-commit”

I would take him too.
This is why it's good to recruit players well, even if they chose another school. You can always end up being the back up school if a kid becomes unhappy.

Redshirt freshman forward Landers Nolley (team-high 15.5 points per game) got his opportunity to play after sitting out last season because his academic credentials were flagged by the NCAA. He was named ACC freshman of the week five times this season, earned a spot on the ACC’s All-Academic team and made the ACC’s All-Freshman team, but he ended the season in a lengthy shooting slump, making just 34.4% of his field-goal attempts in ACC play.

He is going to another P5, but that means he will likely displace a really good player somewhere.
There will be a definite domino effect to this one-time transfer rule.
It won't be as bad to have a scholarship available in the late signing period as it used to be.

In fact, I always liked having a scholarship available
Now I like having 3 available
In reality, teams play 7 guys, sometimes 8, sometimes 6 at Conference Tournament and NCAA Time. Guys 9,10,11,12,13 don't see the floor.

Hope he ends up anywhere else besides Georgetown. Know nothing about him just can't stand the school or Ewing anymore
