May not take a right handed shot but this is one hell of a left handed slam.

Is he not taking right handed shots because he is a lefty? ;)

that would be a good reason, for sure. Wouldn't a 4* be able to shoot layups with either hand ??? Which , I will admit he perhaps can, just didn't see it in that clip.

I agree, if a kid is ranked in the top 150 and is a 4 star you should see some versatility to his game even in the smallest of clips

However didn't PC have that Colemen kid who they raved about landing a top 100 player, and he was literally useless with his right hand?

Getting the chance to play in the Top-30 Game, Samba Diallo showed off the best motor all weekend. He displayed the capacity and willingness to defend various positions and in a camp setting such as Pangos that's noticeable. He was a decent scorer at the basket but any program needs someone like Diallo, a utility knife that plays with no ego.

Recruitment: St. John's, Rhode Island and UMass are the most involved.

ANDRE IGUODALA

Heading into the spring, there were whispers out of New Jersey that Diallo had turned over a new leaf. In California, the 6-foot-7 wing sure played up to the part as, just like Andre Iguodala has prided himself on, he showed the ability to compete with no abandon for his body, defend various spots and crash the glass like his life depended upon it. He does need to rework his overall skillset but the NY Jayhawks star was the hardest playing competitor on the floor on Friday and really, it was not even close. The 2018 small forward is a jack of all trades type and while he may get overshadowed at times, just like the Golden State Warriors reserve, without a guy like Diallo, winning is much more difficult.

Good get for Umass. He's raw but has a high ceiling.... The conference is always better when Umass and URI are contenders.
