Remember back when URI was recruiting Cyril and Tertsea and everyone was drooling over Marfo. A bust at GW and mediocre at Quinnipiac. So hard to project on bigs.

They're looking for a backup to Cyril. Harris will be challenged by Walker.

And more importantly a replacement for Cyril in 2020-2021 so we don't have to rely on a freshman that year (example Harris). Bigs can take a year or 2 to get going (and stay out of foyl trouble).

FWIW everyone throwing up red flags about Michael electing to go into the Transfer Portal... this seems like the better fit for him since he will get the playing time I am sure he wants. All the best of luck to him. Will miss seeing him in a Rhody uniform.

Wish him luck. This is good news for Rhody. Better than him staying enrolled at URI until the end of summer sessions or even December to graduate which was discussed after he entered the transfer portal.
