He's an outstanding young man- good player and student. His brother, Cheddi, is also a guard and a freshman at Boston University. Go St. Anthony! (the Friars that are acceptable to root for)

I guess he's a very good student so academics will be a big factor. Harvard, Princeton and Columbia have all offered.

Hopefully the Hurley/NJ factor will override the academic factor. He can go to Harvard Law School after URI, or something like that.

Just to confirm....coaches are able to talk to a recruit on an unofficial visit correct? My understanding is that it's the same as an official visit but the school doesn't pay for travel???

Correct. The fact that he's made up his mind right after his visit here is telling, imo.

Either he liked it so much he's coming here, or he waited to give us last shot and decided it wasn't good enough, well we'll see.

Interesting reading.
So, they know the same as we do......nothing.
Kid has great size for a PG, and would be a great
addition.
I just wonder, if a high academic school is a priority,
Harvard would seem an obvious choice, as they play
at a high level and have been ranked and gone to
NCAAs under Tommy Amaker.
