He's been all over the place, high school in NY, Las Vegas, and then back to NJ. I guess he turned alot of heads in the NJ playoffs. Zags wrote that he is 6-5.

I don't get this comment. Last time they missed on Terrell they were criticized for not having a backup plan. Now they are being questioned for investigating possible backup plans?

Oh. I didn't realize they had accepted his commitment. I thought it said they reached out to him. To me, that's just baseline level doing your homework. Seemingly has some decent programs sniffing around, too, so I'm not going to get upset about it.

Rather have a 5th year player and use the scholarship in 2015
for a better player. No rule says they have to use the scholarship.
They did that last year. Bet they wish they'd saved it.

I don't disagree about using the scholarship, but if you aren't looking under every rock at this point you aren't doing your job. I don't fault them for touching base and seeing what they could find.

DuPree McBrayer, a 6-foot-4 guard out of The Patrick School in Elizabeth, N.J., has several upcoming college visits and is also on the brink of choosing a prep school for the 2014-15 school year.

McBrayer, whose stock has exploded with his play at The Patrick School and with New Heights in recent months, will begin his college tour by tripping to Providence beginning Friday, his mentor, JR Rembert, told SNY.tv by phone.

McBrayer will also visit Seton Hall June 13, Drexel June 18 and Minnesota June 23. They also hope to visit Rhode Island, Creighton and possibly St. John’s, Rembert said.

Ty Jerome, the 6-2 Iona Prep point guard, will also go on the Rhode Island visit, Rembert said.
