I believe he picks NC State, outside chance for Florida since I would never underestimate Billy B, but in the end I think NC State wins out.

-- PC has not been in the running for Abu for a long time
-- Connecticut. Naahh. New Coach. New AAC League that has many lower level Basketball Programs as compared to the ACC
-- Florida. Very possible. Billy Donovan knows his basketball, is a very good Coach, good salesman for the program. Could happen.
-- Why NC State:
- Very good basketball conference got even better
- Addition of Syracuse and Pittsburgh and Notre Dame - WOW
- Can offer immediate playing time
- Playing against Duke and North Carolina is about as good as it gets in the world of College Basketball
- Abu has said he wants to play in a top conference - so here it is

ACC Teams
Boston College
Clemson
Duke
Florida State
Georgia Tech
Maryland
Miami
North Carolina
Notre Dame
Pittsburgh
Syracuse
Virginia
Virginia Tech
Wake Forest

Ramster, don't forget Louisville joins the ACC after this season. That conference will be dynamite ... Majority scumbags, but dynamite.

This would be great. Unfortunately, to UCONN, home and home means 2 home games in Ct.

i picked Florida for absolutely no reason. Just a gut feeling.

NC state will be irrelevant in the new ACC much like MD is now. Would have been better off at PC because they will now be closer to the top 5 of the big east perennially with the big boys gone. The second tier ACC basketball teams will struggle (VT, FSU, Miami, etc) once Cuse, Pitt, Louisville and ND are around. I doubt those teams get half the national games they used to because the Duke/Cuse game or the UNC/ND game will have more cache and there will be plenty of good matchups in the ACC
