Guidelines for Starting Recruit Threads

Hey Everyone,

I really appreciate all of you taking the time to start these recruit threads. It is a great contribution you all are making, and a big reason that the recruiting section of this board is the best one-stop place to go for URI recruiting info, IMO.

I hate to do this, but I do have one request for you: if you don't have time to set up the profile in the initial post, can you make the first post in the thread a dummy/placeholder post and put whatever content/source/tweet/etc. in the second post? I don't mind coming in and creating the profile later, but if we put too much info in the first post along with the profile, it can become a really long post. I don't want to have to get rid of the info you post in order to make the profile, and I want your posts to ultimately be the profile post so you get the "credit" for starting the recruit's thread.

Thanks for your help on this.

-TP

Haha. OK. tl;dr version:

If you start a recruit thread and don't set up a profile, make a blank post first so I can turn it into a profile later. Post whatever you were going to post in the second post.

Look at this list. PG, PG, SG, and a 6'7" SF. Where's the bigs?
Come on! We're not playing in a 6'5" and under league.

Ha.....good one.

Let's see next year's guys in uniform [2015-16].
Guys who can play and defend the POST, a PF, SF, or WING

Seniors - Watson, 6-7 PF - Reischelle, 6-5 SF/W
Juniors - Onyekaba, 6-8 PF [could be a Sr.] - Martin, 6-7 SF - Hare, 6-10 PF - Mathews, 6-5 W
Freshman - Butts, 6-7 SF

My wish list, one or two Kenny Greens or Mike Browns, and someone with the heart of, and battled like a Seawright.

Sorry. Too much codine. I put the post in the wrong place.
CT, Kenny turned 47 the other day. I think he's too old.
He always battled and had great heart.
Mike Brown may have been our best transfer, aside from Abdul Fox.
I think it's been established that Oneykaba isn't really 6'8".

I like the thread bump almost exactly 365 days later. :)
