Re: '14 SC SF - Javis Howard (Offer)

Javis was the big gainer of the Early Live Period; he came in with no offers and left with 20+. He is extremely versatile on defense and his offensive game is coming around.

2014 Javis Howard – The 6-foot-8 power forward is highly regarded by several mid-major programs however that could change after a 21 point performance against Team Charlotte. Howard showed the ability to knock down several mid-range jumpers that he combined with his high motor to make plays at both ends of the floor.

Currently, Howard is up to 20 plus offers from mid-major schools such as George Mason, Furman, Murray State, James Madison and Chattanooga. Virginia Tech is one of the first high major programs to begin showing interest in Howard who is likely to see more programs become involved following Wednesday night.

Javis Howard, 2014 SF, Upward Stars: The 6-foot-7 small forward is a prospect who improves every single time we see him play. He is a physically imposing rebounding machine who always cleans the glass on both ends of the floor. A high motor prospect, Javis also has continued to polish his mid-range jump shot, which he was showing off out to 20 feet. A solid low major kid who could easily play at a mid-major level.

So, what is he? A center, power forward or shooting forward?? Gotta love these "analyses" ...

Okay, move on….Obviously, he thinks less of his own abilities than the Staff does, if the offer was accurate in the first place. (Or, he just feels comfortable at the level of those schools…….) 8-)
