Saul Phiri – The refinement in Phiri’s offensive arsenal continues to impress. At Elite 75, Phiri chose to highlight his step-back jump shot abilities. On several occasions he had his defender moving one way before taking a quick step back and unleashing his pure shooting stroke. As Phiri adds more elevation to his jumper, he will become that much more challenging to guard.

I think these guys were in the 200's. I saw a bunch of tall,
young kids coming into the concourse at half-time.
If it's a Preston recruit, they usually sit behind our bench.

Yes they were sitting right behind me In 207. Thought I heard coach say to them they were going to meet with Dan as I was exiting. Saw Cimino last summer he was impressive though I only saw him a couple of times.

Thanks Rod, feeling is mutual. Been a rocky 8 or 9 months personally and haven't had ability to follow or post on board as I would've liked. Things have settled down though so hopefully I will be able to check in on a more frequent basis. Still love our Rams and attend games as often as I can

I've seen Phiri play. He's got a body similar to Terrell, not quite as chiseled, but a very strong guard.

I've seen him play a couple of times too and I was going to same the same exact thing about his build. Big kid. Times I saw him he is a big time scorer. Like I said in game thread, he had 37 pts in 25 mins last game.

Glad to hear we were in on him first - not that it'll necessarily be a deciding factor, but it can't hurt. We've got at least one frosh who can speak first-hand that "bigger conference" offers aren't always where its at.

I coached this past season at Cheshire Academy. We played this kid twice. Not particularly skilled offensively but he is an absolute mother*ucker on defense and the glass on both ends. None of our guards wanted anything to do with him.
