Awesome to be on the board before Hurley has even coached a real game yet.

"1:10 p.m.: Great question from @onlinerailbird: Which "mid-major" programs recruit at a high major level?

You have to start with Josh Pastner and Memphis. He's been getting elite-level talent since Calipari left for Kentucky, and he has a top-five recruiting class this year. In the Big East, don't expect much to change. Xavier consistently gets a good crop of players, including top-30 point guard Semaj Christon last season. Gonzaga always seems to find a highly-touted prospect. Lately, though, teams like UNLV and San Diego State have been making inroads. UNLV, especially, is making big moves with elite-level players. Look out for Rhode Island going forward."

Let's not say anything good about the job Hurley and company did here.
You might have atroll or two or some CFL worshippers accuse you of
being too optimistic.

I'm seeing 2 things here that I really like...

1. URI recruiting is getting enough national love that even if these guys don't pan out, Hurley is going to have that "great recruiter" label on him. And that's the worst case scenario.
2. Jesus, the A10 is going to be awesome.

The "recruiting class' only includes true freshmen...if it included transfers, I'm sure all 6 of these guys would be a top 25 national class.

If you say you’re a Rhody fan, I know you are my brother. For you have suffered as I have suffered.
