Mann currently has offers from:
Georgetown, Boston College. Arizona State, Florida State, Marquette, Maryland, Virginia Tech, Florida, Virginia Commonwealth, Iowa State, Creighton and Miami.
Mann is also 6'5" not 6'4" as has been mentioned.
He is the #1 Ranked Prep Player in New England, and also leads the BABC AAU Team.
I don't need to think .00001 seconds before taking him at URI.
Forget about the fit or is there room for a player like this - sometimes I can't believe some of the things said on this Board.
Talk about "looking a gift horse in the mouth"

For quite a while now, Georgetown has been the leader to land Terance Mann. Someone just told me that Georgetown has cooled on Terance. He doesn't know why. Seems strange since Mann's recruitment is really taking off, but that's what I was told.

I doubt it, since I was under the impression that Murphy was only spending his freshman year at Prout. If I had a big talented kid, it would be hard for me to keep him at a RIIL school, since the main "defense" against those players is hacking the shit out of them when they get near the basket. They're usually at a whole other level in terms of development, so I can understand why parents send them to a boarding school or St. Anthony's or a prep school.

Granted, Murphy is a great player, was only a freshman, but even before he was injured it wasn't as if he averaged 30 points, 20 rebounds, and six blocks a game. And generally speaking, teams didn't do "Hack-a-Shaq" against him.
His brothers had a good experience at St. Mark's, so who knows -- except for the CaddyMan -- so perhaps he could fill us in….
Mann faces the best competition there is game-in-and-game-out in the NEPSAC. He isn't going anywhere.

That was the plan, but the competition was so weak that they've decided he needs to move on.

It's great that we are now getting regular visits from 4 star top 100 recruits.

That's very rare around these parts. All we need now, are the results on the court to keep them coming.

If so, it's a whole new ball game.

True, but visiting is better than NOT visiting.
What it means is that he was there because Dan Hurley invited him there for a visit, and not because he was on campus to visit his mom, Coach La-Force.
When he's on campus from here-on-in, I don't care whose guest he is, AS LONG AS HE'S ON CAMPUS A LOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The place wears on a person, because as well know, it's a beautiful place.
Get as many BABC and Expressions people on campus!!!!!!!! All are welcome!!!!!!!!

Glad to see we're involved with at least 4 of the top 10 (have Turner and Cobb fallen off our list since Preston left?)

She's not someone who was very familiar to me before, but everything I've seen and read about her so far seems really great.

Let's hope for some big things for former Big East players coaching Rhody hoops teams.

What I do know is, like Dan, she is very fan friendly and open.
She faces a tough job in a program that hasn't had a winning season in over
a decade and a half.
I hope she does well. I do attend WBB games and would love to see a
better product.
She told me that she loves Rhode Island and URI, and looks forward to
coaching here.
