Re: '14 NY PF - D.J. Foreman (Offer)
Not everything Rutgers does is bad. I think they have this. And the degree issue was on Rutgers, not Jordan.

No, it's not. Two cousins of mine graduated from there, one from its med school. It's perception, though.

Right, but so much about them, and how they've messed up, is out there right now. If that was going to be a detriment, I don't think they would be getting all these players. Jordan was a very good hire for them- the players like those AAU and pro connections and reputation he has.bressler3south wrote:No, it's not. Whatever.
I'm shocked that this kid declared in JUNE, with no visits.
Somebody at Rutgers must've done one hell of a selling job on him.

I question any kid that would voluntarily throw himself into that mess right now.

Looks like he wants to be a 3, not the stretch 4 Hurley is looking for.
Plus, we have this Hassan Martin guy, who also wants to play the 3.
Staff will find someone else. Don't worry.

Right, they can sell him on being a tough match-up at the 3, playing in the Big 10, being part of a program turn-around, playing close to home for a guy who has pro contacts. I'm not saying that will all work out for sure, but it could end up being a good decision.

Rod, I'm not worried for us. I do worry a little for the kid. I hope his "mentor(s)" truly have his best interest at heart.

Yeah, really. Rutgers is just rock bottom now... maybe not Baylor-rock-bottom, but damn dysfunctional at least.

Yet the mentor was thought of quite highly when he praised Hurley
I don't know why anyone would want to play in the Princeton offense, but I am interested in seeing if Jordan can succeed in turning the program around. He's putting together some solid players, but the competition is only going to increase.
