Didn't see a thread on on this guy, so I thought I'd add one. Only a 2 Star, 68 grade on ESPN, but it seems he has some offers from some High Major schools. Maybe that's old news and those big schools have backed off? We need a shooter, but I'd be kind of surprised if it's him as we haven't heard ANYTHING about him recently. Seems in the Xavier Munford mold though. Anyone have any info on him?

Lots of problems and academic issues.
Likely a juco next year.
Moved to Florida. Was kicked off his team last year,
and went to Pat's. A trainwreck. He was a 3 star with Rivals.

Makes sense, the only info I can find on him said he spent this year in FL playing for Arlington Country Day. Only stats I could find for this year were 19ppg, 5rpg, and 4 apg through his first 2 games in FL, and all the schools that have shown interest appear to be High Major (Miami, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Oklahoma State, Kansas, etc.). Maybe Hurley swoops in and grabs him, ala Big O.

Was regarded as a bigtime recruit.
Now, 3 schools in two years, plus academic issues have dulled
interest.
Maybe he can pull his academics through, like Biggie did, late.
I wonder if Dan is willing to take on the problems here.

The kid has been off everyone's radar all year.

"Stark disparity between the ranking/rating applied Isaiah Lewis by ESPN in comparison to that of Rivals. ESPN had the 2013 Guard (Middle Village, NY) a 3-Star (71 Grade) and the just the 39th overall prospect in the Northeast. Rivals lists the 6’3 160lb Lewis as a solid 4-Star and the 79th overall prospect…in the entire country. I count Coach Bill Self a fairly accomplished evaluator of basketball talent. Given Coach Self was on the phone with Lewis just hours before the start of the National Championship game is fair indication the folks over at ESPN have missed the mark. The reason for the Kansas/Self call? The Coach and one of his Assistant wanted to verify Lewis, one of KU’s top ’13 targets, would be watching the Jayhawks square off against the eventual National Champ, Kentucky Wildcats. Fair to surmise Bill Self isn’t on the phone with the Northeast’s 39th overall recruit minutes before tip-off, and certainly not that tip-off."

Hearing former Christ the King star Isaiah Lewis has signed with JUCO Hutchinson Community College.
