I was on message board silence until a decision was made either way. Couldn't be more excited. A million welcomes to Jared. The future looks really bright for our program. Our most talented players will be here at least the next three years. Hopefully, this will spearhead even more higher rated recruits our way in future years.

"I picked URI because I felt like it was the best fit for me, they run a ton of ball screen action. My relationship I have with the head coach is great, he understands where I in-vision myself and has a plan of action"

When asked when did he know that URI was his choice, Terrell replied "Yesterday, I went with my gut feeling and felt that coach Hurley could develop my game, and help me get to the next level.

What factors played into you committing ?

"Great guard system, great coach who develops players, also being close enough to home where my family and friends can come see me play, as well as having a chance to win right away, I could have went to a higher conference but after looking at all options with my family and coaches, URI was the better fit for me. I was never the person to worry about conference, if you can play they will find you"

Wow, this is awesome! This made sense on so many levels and I am really happy that through the ups and downs of the entire process, that Jared is joining the up and coming Rhody basketball program. I really thought that Dan had closed the deal back in September with Jared, and was frankly shocked when he did not choose us then.

Congrats to Coach Hurley on closing the deal this time, and being patient and showing persistence through this process. Good job coach!!

Jared, welcome to the Rhody Family!! I am glad you took your time and made the best decision for YOU!!

There has been so much crapola information flying around on this
recruitment. I'm happy none of it was true, and we landed the number one
player available in his class.
Not getting people busting on Preston for doing his job at BC.
