I think Hassan feels like JT is coming here, but how sure is he? They probably discussed it.

Nothing is certain until he puts pen to paper, whenever that happens.

The fact he didn't commit today, leaves the door open. I'm sure he wants to have his family on board with it before the deal is done.

Hopefully it's just a formality, and he signs with us tomorrow.

Anything good always does. I'll find out 5 hours after the fact.

Maybe it's better that way. Hanging on this board all day waiting for the other shoe to drop, isn't good for one's health, mental or physical.

Not even a peep after today's visit. This just isn't what I expected. Well, I would say its all in JT's hands now. I hope we find out some details of the visit and exactly what "stops" were pulled to provoke him to leave with the good guys this time...

I think not hearing anything is good news. How often have we read the usual shit about how they enjoyed their visit and then nothing.

Hahaha! Oh wow I think a couple ram horns will take care of those buns. Don't we have a ram somewhere on campus? I'm pretty sure on some of the nearby farm land they have the real live ram. Maybe a couple hooves will boot the toosh and soil the hat lol

This is all the way back from page 2 (yes I started reading the thread from the beginning, I'm starting to lose it. This thread is such an emotional roller coaster.) there's a quote in the article that talks about wha he liked about URI.

“The campus was nice,” Terrell, who plays for Brewster (N.H.) Academy, told SNY.tv. “I like how it was away from the city and more of a college town.”

Here's to hoping he hasn't changed his outlook on that matter!

Speaking of so much for Friartown, I just love that even though Terrell beat PC to the punch, they decided to float that they were no longer recruiting Terrell as if they were still in it. It just amazes me how dumb people can get to try and save face.

Can't believe we are THIS CLOSE again with Jared. Seems like so long ago he was eating dinner with the team at Chophouse days before declaring for OK State.

Dan Hurley would be hard pressed to have the talent he would have in the backcourt here at any other school with this kid. The two of them Jared and Dan would assure each other's stability. Dan will take care of Terrell no doubt, other talented kids would fall in line with what is brewing. Dan couldn't leave that if the school did their part.

We did the same thing PC is doing to other recruits, its par for the course.

But for me at this point, who freaking gives a rats ass about anything PC, a commitment from J.T. and the next 3 years look spectacular. Much bigger than the mid major to the north.

There's only 1 school where he could literally alter history, make the move Jared!!!

I worked that night and in our pre shift meeting our GM mentioned that URI had a bigtime recruit in the restaurant that night and to treat that table like gold. From what I saw that night I really thought we had him.

It really is amazing how massive this thread has gotten. If you ever need to prove to anyone how passionate this fan base can be just show them all of this.

Already warned the fiancé that if this goes down then we're spending thanksgiving in Orlando this year. Only reason she obliged is because her parents live on the west coast of Florida and makes for an easy trip. She's a UConn grad so for her this is all amateur hour. She has no idea the pain we've endured and how bad we need this. Come on, Dan! Get this done!
