The NEHoopNews article that mentions an offer from us was back in December. I haven't seen anything linking him to us since. He just visited South Carolina.

IDK guys looks like another project to me. Think a shorter Hare with a stronger body. Too many uncontested dunks against smaller guys in this vid. But he certainly has potential.....

There's no mention of us in the latest stuff on him following his S. Carolina visit, he plans to visit Utah, Seton Hall and Villanova. The Boston College board claims they backed off of him due to grades.

Grades are an issue here for a while.

Dan can't afford to take on a borderline student this year. That is limiting his options somewhat.

URI doesn't want to end up like UConn, ineligible for the postseason. Not now.

This year, with only 2 scholarships available, and next year, with one, aren't too bad for finding players who are good students. The following year, there will be many new recruits coming. By then, Dan should be able to take on more academic question marks, if needed.

BC has pretty high high academic standards, so I wouldn't worry too
much about that.
The player doesn't really seem to be involved with us at this point, anyway.
How can anyone say he's like Hare, on this film?
He puts the ball on the floor, accepts the ball in the post and takes it up, and shoots
mid range jumpers.
All things Hare can't do.
