Women's game on Sunday Postponed

Women’s Basketball and National Girls & Women in Sports Day Postponed

KINGSTON, R.I. – The women's basketball game against Massachusetts on Sunday, Feb. 10 has been postponed due to winter storm Nemo.

In addition, the National Girls & Women in Sports Day clinic has been postponed.

Make up dates for both events have yet to be determined. Stay tuned to GoRhody.com for updates on rescheduling.


Now Sunday is completely free for the men to play anytime. Even a noon time game would make more sense then Saturday at 7 and really how much would it hurt Bonaventure to hang around another half day?

because i doubt umass can get here for the game, who are probably planning on traveling on sunday

UMass had not traveled down in advance of the storm like Bonnies did, therefore Rhody will not have anyone to play come Sunday afternoon. Apparently, UMass officials do not expect them to be able to travel from Springfield to Kingston on time for the game.

Plus it's not on tv & is an EASY reschedule...2-hour bus ride.

I noticed that due to the storm students had to get their cars off the road in kingston and were told to park their cars in the plains road parking lot. so if you are going to the game take this into consideration.
