At the media timepout at 3:49, Butler has tied things up

Rhode Island 28, Butler 28

Butler is heating up, and Rhody is getting fewer rebounds and more fouls.

And now we will see how the URI players handle the pressure of the Hinkle Fieldhouse.

Well, things were sloppy for both teams in the last several minutes, but my hat is off to the Kingston Kids because at the halftime break, they are holding on to a two point lead.

Great half. Would be awesome to win but quite an accomplishment to be leading at half vs these guys.

This Clarke is a player, on both ends.

I get out of work just in time for tipoff, only to find out that I don't get channel 94 on Verizon! Thank god my car radio gets 102.3. I almost did a backflip when I turned it on and heard we were up 2. LETS GO RHODY!

Its unfortunate that Nik's defense is so bad that Hurley has to put Bigby out there which leaves us with essentially 4 players on offense.

Why don't we do call more low post plays for hare..?

I'd like to see his back to the basket more demanding the ball than setting screens and picking up the garbage

He can't play with his back to the basket at all, according to Hurley (see: last post game press conference video) and from observation of their earlier games. They ran some plays to him in the post in the out-of-conference schedule, and I'm not sure if he ever scored from the post. He has a bit of a hook shot that he looks uncomfortable taking, and which didn't go in at all anyway, and Hurley has been adamant that he needs a heavy training program and big man camp over the summer.

yeah for sure, and honestly I dont think there is anything really wrong with that once we have a more talented team around him. Just that this year it sticks out so much because we arent very good.
