The author's flaw in my opinion is the inclusion of Jamal Wilson, Rayvon Harris, and Blake Vedder in the key losses paragragh.

They contributed little to nothing last year, so their loss is not key in my opinion.

Therefore I question his credibility.

First off - there is no such thing as a "key loss" after a 7-24 season. Unless you mean "key loss" as a good thing, like losing weight, and put Jim Baron in that category.

Second - people actually think we got WORSE after this off-season? Some people are gonna be really disappointed come March.

You hold a valid point I dunno I think there are 7 or 8 "should" wins on there. With the Hurley's new system and given that it's tough for other teams to win at the Ryan Center, I think we're gonna upset 4 or 5 teams. That's 12 or 13 wins. Close to .500 "ish"

I agree, but if IF gets eligible, I don't think we have depth problems. I'm a firm believer that fitness, defense, and coaching can steal wins for you.

We certainly don't have a wealth of talent on the floor for this season, but at the same time, if you trust Hurley, than you have to trust he's not going to put a crap product on the floor.

Very few people have coached against him, and certainly we're looking like one of the best conditioned teams in basketball right now.

The difference, is that I don't think we lose games we should win. That's where coaching comes in. I think that allows us to catch better teams on off nights, and see a few cool things this year.

I see us winning: Bonnies, fordham, charlotte, brown, uvm, georgia state, loyola, norfolk st

I see us taking these less likely games: dayton, la salle, joes, auburn, SMU, and wash/seton hall

I see us stealing: PC and UMASS at home.

So yes: I'm taking us at 16-13 this year.
