Since the game is tomorrow I figured I'd start the discussion, SLU is going to be a tough test. They are coming off a 10 point loss at Temple and will be looking for some revenge from the URI's upset win last year at the Ryan Center. SLU is led by their tough defense which gives up 56 points a game while scoring 65.4 points. This could be another rock fight and we will need to hit our shots to have a chance.

So little interest in the actual games, since the PC loss.
Seems the reality of what the team is, sunk in since.
I still believe, if Nik played to his potential, we'd have had a few more wins.
Also, this sparse scheduling since Christmas, hasn't helped, either.

we pretty much play every wednesday or thursday then saturday or sunday for the rest of the year

Call me a fan but I think that one of these games this team is going to turn the corner and play with toughness and find a way to win a few games in a row (i.e. REBOUND). We have a tough test playing in the A10 this year but St. Louis is going to be a good game to see if they can turn that corner and play tough. Defense especially inside will be the key to this one but both teams are going to try to slow the pace. I think if we can have a good shooting game and defend the paint we might steal a win. If we set the tone in this game we have GW and then Fordham, which are both winnable games.

The fact that this game can only be watched on PPV stream or some pirated feed is ridiculous and a pox on the A10 commish's office. This is 2013 and there are a million cable channels and internet feeds. The A10 is becoming a big time league and this just shows why it is so vulnerable. Can't even watch the game in Rhode Island? Unreal. Recruits must love being able to just flip open their tablets or turn on their TVs and watch Hurley's brand of ball. Oh wait, just plug in your credit card number? I get early season games against Our Lady of the Blind, but an A10 conference game? No wonder the BE7 is about to pounce. Just look at the games on TV this weekend. Then on ESPN3. Ridiculous. Evansville v. Indiana State has TV! Ball State v. Central Michigan.

SLU needs the win more than we do.....they have a chance at the NCAA tournament....ideally we should lose to every team that has a good RPI and out of conf record during the regular season.....

...a loss to us would severely dampen their chances of an at-large bid....

....I will root for us against Fordham, the Bonnies, Duquesne, and others who have no shot at the NCAA's...

....then if we make it to Brooklyn....I root for us to upset everyone and grab the auto bid....the other teams will have already secured their at large bids....

Screw the conference, I want this team to win

It won't happen too often this season, and I'm going to appreciate the hell out of each one.

Rather odd stat. The Majerus SLU teams had a horrible record versus Baron and URI. Of course, Rick missed several of those games and wasn't on the sideline.

With Aaman out, what little inside game we have is gone, unless Hare wakes up.

The only 2 players that would be worse being out, is Mike and X. Might have a hard time scoring 40.

Next season, we can afford an injury or two. Not this year.
