I guess Suggs won't get his wish.

The Patriot players are all skipping the Pro Bowl. Injured. Bruised egos.

And people wonder why the rest of the NFL roots against them.

All I know, if I had an all-expenses paid trip to Hawaii for a week, I'd take it. Especially if all it involves is playing for a few minutes in a glorified flag football game.

P.S. Did anyone catch the comments made on facebook by Welker's wife about Lewis?

Classy.

Lots of players skip the pro bowl; not just the pats.

Welkers wife; while poorly timed; speaks the truth. Ray Lewis covered up his involvement in a double homicide. Lets see if anyone in the mainstream media has the balls to interview th victims families in the next two weeks.

Some hero.

They won't. Sean.
The media seems content to go along with Lewis' phony religiocity, and his whole act.
I don't care about the Harbaugh backstory. They earned it.
However, we'll see endless Ray Lewis clips for two weeks, unchecked by
anyone in the media going deeper than popcorn questions.

To clarify. Patriots players dd not call the Giants before the game and invite them to their victory party. A couple made that remark near the end of the game, which of course was ill-advised.
Montana was the coolest customer of them all. It's hard to compare QBs of different eras. The game is much different than it was even 20 years ago. Offenses and QBs are highly protected now and so are wide receivers. You seldom see a pass go incomplete without expecting a flag.
I think most fans of any team would be thrilled to have the Brady-Belichick track record. Three Super Bowls, two more SB appearances and two non-playoff seasons in 12 years.
And that is in the free agency era. The window is closing, but it's been a great ride.
As for Peyton Manning being superior, he's 9-11 in the playoffs, one title and one really bad interception against the Saints. Great numbers, great arm, but not the most clutch. He does lead the league in endorsements, though. I don't think Tedy Bruschi is a Hall of Famer, Law might get in, maybe Harrison. A couple of really good years and Welker in the mix. Mankins and Vinatieri are possibilities down the line, so is Wifork. Moss will get in based on his overall body of work.

I think what tarnishes the Brady-Belichick era is, after winning three Superbowls,
they've gone 7-7 in post season games, since.
I think Brady is better than Manning. Manning won one and lost one Superbowl, and was directly responsible
for the loss, with his interception late in a close game. 9-11 in playoffs is nothing special.
One of the greats, for sure, but not enough to be on the Mount Rushmore of QBs.
I think he comes across as more likeable than Brady, in his everyman, kind of goofy, manner.
Brady, with his glamorous off field life, is the target of envy and cheap shots.Still five superbowls in this
century, is quite a feat.

I think B & B have one more SB in them [appearance that is, a win, who knows?] before they both ride off into the sunset in a few years. The rest of the team is young enough and good enough to keep going to the playoffs as long as they're around.

Their legacy is safe, no matter what happens.

Pats are already odds-on favorites to win the Super Bowl next year, according to SportsBook.com

I cant stand Suggs he is so arrogant

I am pulling for the 49ers to take down the Ravens, it is a great matchup

I really believe Rodney Harrison is a hall of famer, I loved watching him play, I hope he gets in

I also hope Ed Reed becomes a Pat next yr, Belly has always loved him and I bet he goes hard after him, he is so far better than Gregory not even funny
