St Bonnie’s viewing party Feb 16th

Unread post by Rhody1988 »

Any viewing parties scheduled for the St Bonnie’s game on Friday night the 16th? Aroogas was fantastic last year for the Oregon game, all tv’s turned to it and sound pumped in. Doubtful they would do it for this reg season game on a Friday night but you never know! Any ideas or plans for places holding an event for this game please post!

210 is a somewhat small place. You would think several other spots can host a viewing party, but I understand that 210 is a URI BB sponsor and they must be rewarded for that.

We can arrange an unofficial one if necessary.

I like TwoTen but it gets cramped quickly. Matunuck Oyster would be a great location if they could add a couple of TVs.

For those in the Northern part of the state, The Last Resort in Smithfield is great. Plenty of room and TV's and great food and pizza. And even though it is near Bryant a very pro URI crowd. The owner is a URI graduate and his son is a student there now. If someone calls there, he will reserve the back room.

FWIW fellow Bostonians, our Alumni get together had 36+ people at the Davidson game watch party at Harry's Bar in Brighton with a ton of giveaways. We packed the bar. They've offered to be our Rhody bar in Boston through the entire tournament and play every televised game there. I would love to see my fellow Keaney Blue-rs there!

(I'm also the Boston Alumni Chapter leader.)

I would be interested in a NYC or NJ (Hoboken/JC) spot as well.
