Newcomers Butler and VCU have yet to taste defeat in the A-10 as they won A-10 road games yesterday, for Butler it was its second road win.
La Salle in a nice home win over Richmond.
Xavier blasted GW.
Temple led all the way in its win over Saint Louis, 64-54, but SLU kept it close until the end.
In other action yesterday:
Auburn got a SEC road win as the Tigers edged South Carolina, 74-71.
Georgia State leading by 5 at the half, fell at home to Delaware, 86-83.
Brown routed D-III opponent, Daniel Webster, a school of some 800 students based in Nashua, NH, 71-34.
George Mason fell at UNC-Wilmington , 82-74.
In a battle of Techies, visiting Virginia Tech beat Georgia Tech, 70-65.
Vermont defeated UMBC, 68-53.
SMU defended it home court by beating Tulane, 59-53.
8-10 Norfolk State beat Maryland- Eastern Shore, 63-58, to remain unbeaten in the MEAC at 3-0.
St. Mary’s over San Francisco, 78-72 pushing the Dons to 0-4 in the WCC.

UMass with 14 point halftime lead finally prevails over Fordham, 77-73, overcoming the Rams’ 51-37 rebounding margin.
Rider beats Loyola (MD), 64-57.
PC, a 67-55 winner over Seton Hall.
Also, Iona, behind in the early going, comes out strong in second half to hand Canisius its 4th loss in its last five games, 97-87. BB had 20 points, including 4 of 8 three pointers.

Baron is starting his February fade a little early this year.
As for Fordham, 51 rebounds does not portend well for us when we play them. Gaston will eat us alive inside.
To be honest, I can't wait for this season to end, and get geared up for next season. I'll bet Dan and Bobby feel the same way.

I don't think any of us should be glad Canisius is losing, but this simply confirms that Baron is who he is - a mediocre coach. It doesn't matter where he goes, his teams perform the same.
