I would have rather seem the Bonnies come into the Ryan Center next week with a good record. At the beginning of the season, who had Duquesne marked as the marquis home game?

9 teams at 1-2

well at least there is some separation? :? but the A10 is leaning hard towards 1 bid if this keeps up

Nevada pulled away in the last ten minutes of the game with Air Force to win, 86-75. The Wolfpack moves its Mountain West record to 4-0 and takes over sole possession of first place as Boise State suffers its first league loss in an overtime thriller at Wyoming.

EMotional post game interview with Travis Ford following win over Richmond

D J Foreman, who played 2 years for Rutgers, played a strong game for SLU

Goodwin went out mid way through the first half and did not return, ankle injury.

Next up for Rhody.

Matt Mobley is so overrated I almost feel bad for him.

Almost.

Can’t wait to shut him down yet again next Saturday.

I hafta be missing something...coach is 'emotional' about beating a 3-11 team, to get to .500?

He’s EMotional about the issues they have had this week in practices and other. Not all public. Plus that their freshman, Jordan Goodwin, went out early in the game with an ankle injury.

7,291 attendance should be a pretty good crowd on hand for Rhody.

There's obviously some stuff going on there behind the scenes. I'm not a close enough observer of SLU to tell you what it is.

Bonnie’s lose again, URI playing through the A10 is like walking through a pack of zombies trying not to get bit. Gross and invested with bad losses.

Their fan base and situation seems bleak. it is too bad as they were such a steady program for so long. Is it just mean or this league really cycling right now where a lot of the once brotherhood of the lost(SBU,Duq,URI) are rising and some of the other long term tops (Dayton, VCU, stjoes, st louis) are struggling. hope this doesn't last as the brand names are needed for perception sake

And for consistency, there is Fordham

All set with reading all 158 pages, but good reminder. I forgot they had that going on.

This isn’t specific to Saint Louis and their situation, but the average dude on a sports message board’s take on sexual assault allegations and investigations, especially when it has to do with their team, is one of the grossest things on the internet.

Looks like Duquesne is for real and Dambrot was a great hire who stresses defense

Duke goes down

Don't like seeing Bama struggle

The lack of self awareness is incredible. I'm guessing you're talking about the dude there wondering why the accusers aren't suspended from school and/or prohibited from attending basketball games, and I think that is the same guy who argued that guys accused of sexual assault should also file charges against the accusers so that both sides are treated the same throughout the process.

I can get thru life because people seem decent enough when you chat with them in line at Starbucks or on the commuter train, but it shakes my faith in humanity every time I read shit like that - some of these people have to be the same people as appear normal to me in brief encounters because math. Knowing that any given person I interact with who seems decent and reasonable could actually be a men's rights activist or a white supremacist or a conspiracy theorist nutjob or a Trump voter (not that these are different types of people, necessarily) makes me want to not meet or talk to anyone.

Slim pickings on this last day of week.

In the A-10:

Davidson at George Mason. 12 Noon. On NBCSN.

In games involving URI OOC opponents:

Fairfield at Iona. 1 PM. On ESPN3. After a less than stellar performance against St. Peter's, the Gaels need to show why they were considered the preseason favorite in the MAAC.

Charleston at Towson. 2 PM. This is the second encounter between the two favorites in CAA, Charleston having taken an 11 point win last week. Charleston is coming off a surprising loss at Drexel and needs to re-group to avoid a second straight road loss.

We beat George Mason by 19 on our homecourt.
Davidson beat George Mason today on George Mason’s Home court by 27.

Davidson Home and Away games for us could be challenging. We play them away the last game of the season and Home in early February.

Iona beats Fairfield 84-65. They are now 9-7 with an RPi of #107.

Charleston loses at Towson 73-62. They are now 9-5 with an RPI of #135.

It would be very nice for them to get on rolls in conference play and get their RPI's under 100.

Because they were home games the number 100 means nothing. The cutoffs are 30, 75, and 160. Those games are solidly in quadrant 3

On a side note, and I don't mean this to single you out because I know a few people just this weekend alone have talked about the old milestones, but can we all start talking about quadrants and the proper RPI cutoffs? It's not hard to do and seeing as that's what the selection committee will be using, that's what we should be using as well
