EC was huge, looks like rust is off!

Not sure I'd say their size is a big problem for us. Rhody outrebounding them 16-13, 7-1 on OREB. I think it's simply that we weren't making shots until the end of the half. Still a huge disparity in shooting, 57% for FGCU to 42% for Rhody. Turnover margin and offensive rebounding giving Rhody way more shots than the Gulfs or whatever they are.

Crowd looks really solid for winter break.. any estimates???

As usual the defense got back on track and everything else followed. Great job by Rhody from about the 8 minute mark of the first half or so.

I'm going to go ahead and trust expected RPI's a little bit going forward. I don't really care what the heights are for the opposing guys, if we are 100+ spots higher than our opponent, and at home, we should probably feel good about comfortably winning the game.

Good way to close out the non-conference schedule

Great second half from everyone. That’s a SOLID win boys, they looked really good. Onto the A10.

that was a fun game to watch, after the slow feeling out start they dominated the game

it was nice to see EC knock off the rust before conference play, all 5 starters in double figures was nice too. 17 assist to just 5 turnover

A relatively comfortable win closes out a successful OOC schedule. 8-3 vs one of the strongest non conference slates with wins over Seton Hall and PC puts the Rams in good shape for NCAA at large consideration. Time for conference play. Play up to expectations (as they have done to date) in the A-10 and there will be a bid waiting.

Did we get our clocks cleaned?? Asking for a friend (Rhody72).

That was fun. I feel like they answered all my questions going in.

Look forward to seeing that locked in team again.

This win really has me pumped. The exclamation point on a tough OOC schedule for sure. EC sounded confident yet relaxed on the post game interview, and I would say the same for Hurley.

I think we may still struggle a bit with a team that has a couple of decent bigs, but our guard lineup is really gelling, and the relentless attack on both sides of the court by that group builds.

That St. Bonny game is going to be interesting.

Attendance looked good on TV. 10 degrees out on a weds night in December with the students gone and it still looked like a strong crowd.

EC and JT played well together...38 points.....do that and we won't lose very often....

Cyril foul prone.....still wonder about his injury.

EC and JT definitely played well tonight. Together. This is what we have been waiting for.

Supposedly there were scouts from 3 NBA teams there tonight, the Celtics being one of them. Who do you think they were looking at?

Nice effort once we cranked it up on D it was over. Dowtin gets a lot of criticism but he is usually guarding the other team's best guard and their guy didn't do shit tonight. Great to see EC back in form. JT his usual solid performance. Same with SR who is also under-rated. Really solid OOC performance. Looking forward to the A10. Hoping Cyril can get it going.

Love the guard play Stan’s D was a difference maker tonight to turn the tide. Guards are deep but can’t live on this through March. Not sure I understand DH insistence on playing Nicola. He is just a drag on the rest of the squad on both offense and defense. Is Ryan Preston in the dog house? I think he will turn in some helpful minutes in A10 games if allowed to play. Andre has some soft hands and can make quick transition catch and shoot baskets if he is close enough not to have to bounce it once before the move up. I can’t believe that Cyril hit the bottom of the rim on an almost layup. I would like to see more AB and RP minutes together
