But for real, Newkirk and Brown are two of my favorite players to watch in the conference, and SJU should be really good if they can stay healthy, which is good for the conference.

Still not sure I’m ok with this, though. ;)

I'd be okay if Bob Sr. Gave Brown a real strong, arm twisting handshake.:P

Injuries at St Joe's are really adding up. First Charlie Brown, now Kimble (did not travel on from Toledo to next game in Chicago at UIC). Both look to likely miss several games.

Really hurts with the league shitting the bed. Especially St Joe's and Bonnies, who when healthy will be formidable, but likely won't hit their peak until conference play and provide little lift for us in their OOC performance.

Exactly. these early season injuries and the resulting losses will really hurt the league. Teams like SJU and SBU will take some big hits as far as their at large chances are concerned. league wins over them later in the year will not have as much weight. The A-10 schedule is looking like it will present far more possible landmines than opportunities.

Yeah as of now it looks like a 1 bid league.
I think we will be lucky to get 3 this year sadly.

No possible way the A10 ends up a 1 bid league. I'll eat my computer if that happens.

Could be a 2 bid league this year though.....we'll see.

Could depend on whether or not we win the conference tourney.

Not sure how many saw it, but Mason looked pretty competitive vs Louisville...and they weren't picked to be at the top of the league, were they?

Good to see Vermont give Kentucky a game. Vermont missed two 3 pointers in the last 30 seconds that would have tied the game.

”You cannot play Popcorn State and learn anything,” Calipari said. ”You’ve got to play good teams. I didn’t realize how good (Vermont) was until I watched the tape. Then I was like, `who scheduled this game? This is ridiculous.’ They just do an unbelievable job.”

And now Richmond is getting blasted by Jacksonville State 50-29 at half...this after getting smoked in their opener by Delaware.
Not good.

Richmond was kind of a one trick pony last year with Cline. Without him idk why anyone thought they would be good.
