Very true. Lots of URI grads near me in Fall River, Somerset, Swansea, Seekonk. And some great places in those towns where shows could be scheduled.

Around 6 minutes, Dan mentions his affinity for man defense, but admits " that may change that a little this year." Nothing huge, but may help Berry work his way into the rotation a little bit more.

They were showing a graphic on the scoreboard in the second half for the November 1st coaches show that had the 210 Oyster Bar logo on it

^ which would work out perfect, since we got 210 gift cards with season tix....

November 7th show will be at Dan's Place and November 29th show will be at Mews

Guys...it's a big world out here. You should check it out - some of it is pretty nice.

I know you guys are kind of joking with this, but this kind of attitude - URI thinking of itself as apart from the rest of the known universe and effectively walling itself off by choice - has been as much of a detriment to its growth as the (real) mistreatment it has suffered from its state government and other institutions located north of the tower.

It's not so much that I don't WANT to drive north of the tower. It's mostly that spend about 50-55 hrs per week working/commuting to Providence. The city of Providence is a complete and utter cesspool minus some good restaurants and the East Side (which is not what it used to be).

Unsolicited glowing reviews of Providence because people asked for a once a year hourly show. Ok.

210 for the show and Mew's for pint night. My kind of Wednesday night.

The Mews is open - had lunch there yesterday. They're on a different grid.

Takes from listening to the show:
1) Don’s questions were mostly clueless the first half - focused on minutes played. Well no EC and no fouling out so plyers in foul trouble didn’t have to sit
2) Berry is getting pushed back to 4th forward
3) Dan wants to play Preston more
4) Stan, Jeff & Fatts took too many 3s
5) need to make 9 threes per game - 3 point shooters are EC,Jared & Jarvis
6) Cyril hurt his knee a little vs Buffalo. Has been out. Probably won't play vs Harvard
7) expects EC to play 18 minutes vs Harvard
8) Layssard just got back to practice. Has a role as a banger playing physical
9) 4 spot is either Akele or Stan - whoever raises their game
10) Fatts has talent. Need to find him playing time

This team will reach its ceiling if Ryan Preston is logging the majority of minutes at the 4 by mid to end of season. Our best lineup will include him if we are to compete with the big boys.

I hope you are right. I don’t think that is Dan’s mind set based on his comments. He mentioned Akele or Stan competing for that spot.
He also mentioned needing to play the 4 guard lineup in order to get 6 guards playing time.
He did say he should’ve played Preston more. He only played 8 minutes. He mentioned that Preston stll has a lot to learn. That usually pushes a player down the depth chart.

Hopefully when Preston plays he produces so that will earn him playing time from DH
