The SEC is clearly superior to all other football conferences. There is no debate. They had 6 of the top 10 before the bowls. 4 of them won including the National champs. They've won 5 or 6 National championships in a row. Alabama was lucky to even play in the Championship game and Notre Dame did not even belong on the same field with them. It was like JV vs Varsity. Sorry I'm no big SEC fan but facts are facts.

This is exactly right. BC, Northwestern, Stanford, Vandy, and ND are really the only schools that pretend to do it the right way in that their admissions department does something other than rubber stamp the football applicants. Even good schools like Michigan completely separate the football kids from the general pop. I had a buddy play football at Michigan and he fought tooth and nail with the coaching staff to major in something other than the fluff majors. The SEC is no different than Ohio State, Oklahoma, Texas, etc. They just do it better.

He managed to graduate from Alabama.
His combined SAT score was 736.
Then again, fictional Forest Gump graduated from Alabama.

Namath got a 736 combined SAT? Wow. Dumber than a brick. I think you get that by just signing your name! Haha. Hell, I got a 664 in math, and only answered 70% of the questions, due to never looking at the time I had left.

All I'm saying is make a current and relevant argument. Don't give me one student from an era 40 years ago and a movie character. Next you will be knocking MIT for not admitting Wil Hunting as a student
