Has anyone made a list of next years schedule? Trying to see how that looks this early.

I was tracking..
Home: Neveda, Bama,
Away: Holy Cross, PC, Brown, Charlestown

Any others besides the secret game that nobody will announce?

I'm guessing its WV H+H, but could be preseason tournament announcement? Since it's a scheduled release I'm guessing preseason tournament that will be released by the tournament organizer at 4pm - although bad timing from a publicity standpoint.

WV is the preseason tourney - which I believe will be Mohegan HOF next year. I am hoping this is the "big news" home game that has been alluded to for months.

Again, the timing is weird (Friday before Christmas). The other thought I have is the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii - the 2018 field hasn't been announced yet. The tournament is this weekend and includes Davidson out of the A10. Who knows

With the “hype” around this announcement it implies that it’s not a middling to lower tier P5 school. Hoping big like unc/duke/Kentucky

Well, 2018 would be the 20th anniversary of us taking down #1 seed Kansas. That would be a good marketing get.

Solid tournament for team building plus great travel option for fans. Doesn’t appear to be any blue bloods that will rip our young team apart. I like.

Juiston vs Harris

Yeah, thats not even the big news, but not sure if its what Bill meant or not either. But still another solid tournament to be in, plus Christmas in Hawaii sounds pretty good.

So that's today's big news. It's really good news that the program continues to get invited into these top tier exempt tournaments.

Does anyone remember the kinds of tournaments the Rams played prior to Hurley?

Top of the World Classic (NOT to be confused with Great Alaskan Shootout) where we lost to Troy but gained big wins vs the Nanooks of Alaska and the Gentlemen of Centenary.

Islander Invitation in Corpus Christi (Rhody was ranked #25 and that's the tournament we got into that year)

Not sure I would call it Top Tier, but a good tournament none the less. No Marquee names, and perhaps no Top 25 potential wins.

It's the Top Tier Christmas tournament. In fact, this year it's the ONLY Christmas tournament. Great exposure. As for top 25 potential wins. TCU is undefeated at #15 in the country now and has 4 players returning that average over 9.1 points per game, UNLV returns pretty much everyone, and St Mary's returns its top 5 scorers.

Again, I'm not sure we would have wanted the Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State's of the world early next year with the young roster we'll have. This, to me, is an IDEAL tournament.

Strong agree here, I think that this is the ideal tournament for next year's team to get into. With the young team, they will get a few games under their belt and an opportunity to experience a hostile environment (@ PC) before this tournament even begins.

Not saying this isn't a good tournament, but by no means is this earth shattering news. It's a non con tournament that is a step below the Seton Hall/Virginia tournament we had this year. And we have a top 25 recruiting class coming in.

I believe it's still possible to also have an early season tournament - can anyone confirm? Or are we limited to 1 tournament? It's possible the WV game is part of a Mohegan Tournament in November.
