He would have fit on this year's team so well. Would have been a true missing piece, another rim protector and a true 5. One can dream.

Agreed. And I know the coaching staff was extremely disappointed when he decided to go to the Gamecocks.

That's splitting hairs, they are both listed as Forwards on their roster. I'd argue Kotsar drifts from the hoop moreso like a 4 than Silva, but regardless on our team he would have been a 5 and would have been a valuable missing piece on this year's roster...that was the point of my comment. I may be offering a different opinion on some things, but snark is not the intention. I have been consistent that I don't think Preston is ready to be our HC YET and I don't think our staff has an intolerance towards recruiting big men. Just one man's opinion.
