Not good for the conference need as many teams at full strength as possible during non-conference play!

That's scary. I am in Cumberland Hill and my mailman is a huge PC fan. Hope he didn't swipe them for the PC tickets

I only got mine yesterday here in Wakefield. I imagine the ticketing staff at the Ryan Center folding and loading up these flags for delivery. They can probably only do so many each day so they are dropped off with USPS in groups each day.

As a huge 2K guy, yeah this was in last year's game NBA 2K17. NBA 2K18 is now out and the same guy recreated them. That guy that makes them puts in over 50+ college teams because there no longer is a college basketball game (shame!). He updates them with newer jerseys, new court designs, etc. It's pretty sweet.

So, EC's current knee problem isn't the one he hurt two years ago. It's his other knee. He was held out of practice for two weeks because of it. He practiced Wednesday, Thursday and Friday this week but was held out of the exhibition game because it was sore. Is this a concern going forward?

Exhibition game.....if this was a regular season game he plays.

However with the wear and tear of the regular season, it could be a problem, possibly.

Especially with some games close together.

Just read the ESPN preseason all American list. Worked myself into a whirlwind.

Cant wait to see these Rams.

They have already accomplished so much in their careers. Now they are a year older and another year in the program?!

With all of their experience. Cant wait. All the heralded players we play, very rarely have guards gone off against the recent Rams. This year I would be shocked to see a guard take it to us. Or more importantly, get the best of URI.

I also think DH probably has a better handle on coaching. How to deploy a group like ours. How that wears down other teams. Making sure they just cant keep up.

The exhibition was just that. I was there. URI didn't look early to be playing the game to win. They were just going through the motions of passing it around and running. Not really looking to impose their will. Plus no EC Matthews. He is kind of good. Good in the way that he actually can carry that lead dog role. Then everyone else can fall into line and do great with less of a burden. Kid has strong shoulders.

A quick question for season ticket holders. This is my first year as a season ticket holder and I had a friend ask me if season ticket holders have an opportunity to purchase additional tickets to the PC games prior to them being released to the general public. My parents who have had tickets for years did not think so. Any insight on this would be appreciated.

The only top 20 backcourt list I could find and we are not on it.

Yale has a better backcourt than us folks.

Besides Yale, the list is all P5+Big East. Yale seems to be the obligatory "mid-major" throw in. The Bonnies bringing back Mobley and Adams also could gripe with being left off that list, which seemed pretty lazy.

This may have been discussed in an earlier posting but what the hell is going on with our tv coverage?

Just looked at the schedule and we're nine days out from opening night and by my count we still have 11 games with no tv to include five A10 games. I think I read somewhere about the new ASN picking up some games but nothing has been updated.

We finally get back to relevancy and it feels like out tv coverage is worse than it's been in five years. I know we have more ESPN games this year but to not have tv coverage lined up for 11 games nine days out makes this out-of-town Ram fan a little nervous.

Any information or updates would be greatly appreciated.

Our national TV coverage is by far better than it has ever been since we had a guy named Harrick and Odom here.
The local coverage, and mid to low tier games are what is still in flux. Hopefully this is being sorted, but as usual communication from the school and marketing proficiency is lacking.

Let's all be calm. The games without TV coverage should get some kind of coverage. Patience. It doesn't matter until the day of the game.

Rothstein continuing to spread the love for URI...

https://www.fanragsports.com/68-things- ... ll-season/

25. Rhode Island

Depth, experience, talent — the Rams have it all. Dan Hurley’s squad nearly beat Oregon last March and came up just short of reaching the Sweet 16, but this program is far from done in terms of building a national presence. With Jeff Dowtin, Jarvis Garrett, E.C. Matthews, Jared Terrell, and Stan Robinson all returning and freshman Daron “Fats” Russell set to join the rotation, Rhode Island has as deep a perimeter as there is in college basketball. This is the team to beat in the Atlantic 10, and it isn’t up for debate.
