While everyone else gets their just due, I was very impressed with Terrell, again. He fills up the stat sheet, and played excellent defense whether he was on Foster or Thomas. He's the type of player that successful teams have.

Agree he was really good today without being flashy. Great D, ball handling, made the plays he needed to make. A leader too. Glue guy

It's kind of funny, actually. I had about a dozen group threads going during the game, and the best basketball watchers were raving about Jared's D and the casual fans were roasting him for missing a couple layups. I will take kids like Jared all day.

I called sweet 16 two weeks ago. URI has been firing on all cylinders for a while now. Today's result is expected.

This URI team has elite top 10 talent. Said it all year. Said it at the start of the year! Team played tight and afraid until the Fordham game.

Message received the hard way that playing fast, smart and loose without fear produces champions.

I called sweet 16. I now think this team can go deep. It's all there. Crisp offensive sets result in an open shot st the bucket almost every possession. We play lock down complex defense. Foul shots! Yep the most bitched about aspect of the game on this forum was perfectly executed today under the greatest pressure possible.

Our toughest game is this region is tomorrow.

This group is on the cusp of history. Something special might await. We are represented by a strong group of men!

Win and advance!

We are all in this together my KeaneyBlue friends!

Go Rhody!

We are 25-9. We gagged at least 4 games to vastly inferior opponents when we played tight and afraid.

So what keeps URI from standing tall with a club like Louisville, Michigan or the ducks ?

Nothing anymore, absolutely nothing!

Oh and you need to update the last part of your sig friend.

Cause you are right in the thick of the NCAA tournament!

Win and advance.

My simple comment for anyone familiar with the movie "Sleepers" is "One down shakes, one down"
I posted a thread called HOPE about a month ago and I guess as unlikely as it seemed then the "Hope"
that the Rams could still get on a run like Dayton had to the Elite eight a few years ago defied the logic
of that time and became a reality.
Go back and check it out.

Unreal game by Dowtin, our season turned around when he was forced into the starting role.
10-10 from the line, 0 turnovers, knows what he wants to do out there never forces action.
