So if we win this game do we avoid being in the last four in? Hopefully we don't have to play in Dayton Tuesday night, might be difficult to find a flight for anyone who's planning on going.

If we win tomorrow I think our RPI will be in the low 30s or high 20s. We should not be anywhere near the Dayton play-in games.

Ok, it's VCU. This is what people apparently wanted, and you got it. So let's do this, then.

One thing that's a definite disadvantage of playing VCU is that this is going to be a legit road game with the way they travel.

Clark Kellogg and Seth Davis both pick URI to win on CBS.

And agreed, a win against VCU removes us from play in game territory. RPI would be high 20s.

We win tomorrow. Still aggravates me that the power 5 schools get obvious favoritism. And then the BE? Is Lunardi seroius? 7 teams? Maybe 3. Most over rated league I have seen. I think PC had a great year, beyond expectations. But a lock? Seriously?

Yea will certainly be a difficult enviorment to play in but will also be a good prep game for the tournament. It's also a revenge game for VCU, they lost to us earlier in the season and lost last year in the A10 finals.

VCU is a much tougher defensive team than Davidson, and deeper......

It will likely be a foul fest like the last game with them....make our FT's like that game.....

I'll take any advantage we can get. Minutes played today for us....EC 28, Jared 28, Hass 27, Jeff, 26, Nikola 21, nobody else played 20... Minutes for VCU today...Lewis 37, Cox 36. We get three more hours of rest also. Doesn't seem like much, but could be a factor with such a quick turnaround.

They're also less skilled offensively. Overall, VCU is a much better team than Davidson, and it's a completely different game. Bottom line is we can beat VCU.

This game will probably end up close.....now's the time to seal the deal...and put to rest a lot of the negative stuff about this team and coach.

It's been 10 years since we were in this position. This is what we've all waited so long for.

The difference between 10 years ago and today was that team didn't even make the NIT. I'm feeling better by the hour that we are on the inside right now and playing for seed tomorrow, but just the same I want to win this game and eliminate the suspense.

Thanks true, I could remember if that was an NIT team or not, I just remember being shocked we made the finals, and dying as GW? ran away with it and my family laughing at me (thank god we didn't have phone video during that time)

To the no respect posts, yesterday before Iowa state won they were 2-6 against the top 50 or 25. I think 25, WE were 2-3! They were an absolute lock!

Is it better for 2 wins out of 5 or 2 out of 8???

Yeah, but I thought I read where they cut him out of all NCAA games and studio for this year. So, since this is actually CBS, they may shift crews. But probably not , I guess it wouldn't make sense. Actually don't mind Gottleib. He says some things like Garrett is not a natural PG, but I believe he watches film and talks a bit with people involved with the program to get a pretty good beat on the team. Better than many we have had. At least he knows the game and I think is pretty fair. He actually was a big backer of mid majors when he first started out unlike some of the other national guys. I know he thinks Ill St should be in, so I assume he thinks we should be too. Even Seth Davis , who is pretty arrogant and big school oriented, as most Duke guys are, had us as last team in last night
