Hassan Martin: A Name The Nation Should Know

Unread post by RoadyJay »

Looks like Cox is back with a new national site.

Our good friend Chris DiSano has a nice write up on Hass. Worth a read with some great quotes from Hass.

Thanks RoadyJay for posting this great piece. Hassan Martin is a special person all around and when you see and read stories like this you just get this strong emotion/desire to see him go deep into the tournament season to enjoy more of his performances.

BTW, DISano is such a great and talented sports journalist!!

Love Hass!
Love Chris Disano's work.
Hassan Martin is a player we will be talking about
for years to come.
The term "warrior" is overused, but in Hassan's case,
the word fits.

Great and well deserved national pub for Hass, but also just want to give a shoutout to Chris DiSano, who we all know always does great work.

Chris said on the postgame radio show with Steve and Don that Lunardi has asked him to do the preview piece on espn.com, I think on URI if they are selected, but maybe on the A10 regardless - I was unclear listening to it, but that was my fault not his as I was navigating traffic and having a conversation at the time he said it. Cool thing for Chris, either way.

Chris has an encyclopedic knowledge of the A-10.
He not only knows who the players are, but he
can tell you what they do in given situations, as
well as team performances.
He really does his homework,
which shows he has a great deal of respect for his craft.

Great stat for Hass being the only active NCAA player with the certain points rebounding and blocks

He was supposed to call Joe the night of the Davidson game or the next morning to find out if he should start preparing the URI article
