Bonnies will still be tired - coming off a game as well. Plus UMass won't roll over, at least I don't think.

We need Bonnies to win to solidify their top 100 status for us, and not for nothing, it's St Bonaventure. If we can't beat them in a must win situation for our tournament lives we never deserved to be in the dance in the first place.

Jim Baron's teams always got to this point and pissed down their leg. Want to prove we're different? Go and fucking win it.

So St. Bonaventure it is after they beat UMass 73-60. Has Derrek Kellogg coached his last game at UMass? They seem to have a lot of young talent there and he's never seemed to be a good coach outside of recruitment.

Good. The best way to exorcise demons is with an exorcism. Can't do that if they're not in the building.

If the Bonnies brought him in to help them defeat URI then we have underestimated the Bonnies because nobody has defeated the URI basketball program quite like Jim Baron. That would be a stroke of genius. He's in the top 5.

Good maybe an extra focus & fire will be on display vs Bonnies... Will help focus team/staff on game at hand, instead of possible trap of looking ahead.

Poor Fordham I was ready to congratulate them - not sure the last time they made the A10 quarters, if ever - and I go to check the final to see they're getting smashed in OT. What happened? They were up by like 5 with under a minute I thought?

They were up by 7

GMU tied it in regulation with a layup at the buzzer. They took command in the OT

Last they made the quarterfinals was in 2007 where we beat them.

Derek Wittenberg dayzzz.
Bryant Dunston and Marcus Stout.

Then we beat Xavier after that... which has only happened like twice

Fordham in a brutal loss to George Mason in OT, 82-71. The Metro Rams completely collapsed in the OT after having blown a 6 point lead with 31 seconds left in regulation. Other than La Salle, all the higher seeds have won in the 5 tournament games played so far.

PRT, I was in Vegas during that tourney....I was shocked as shit we beat X.....then I made the fatal mistake of thinking we would beat GW......

And since we had lost the last 3 regular season games before we edged Fordham in the quarters.....we went home, no NIT even.

Awful shooting to start of Saint Louis-GW game. GW has two points in first 10 min on 1 for 12 shooting.

bad after coming off a blowout win over league champ, Dayton

GW has 13 points in the first half?! They were a dark horse in this tournament for some. I can't imagine being a GW fan - in general, but especially now.

Let's make it easy for VCU.......not.....

Still, SLU is bad...I expect GW to pull this out.

The first half for them is what happens when EVERYBODY can't make a shot.

Hell, we're due to rain 3's on the Bonnies.....although I'd just take a meh win there and drill our 3's against [likely] Dayton.

Speaking of awful, how about these crowds
in Pittsburgh?
Players, coaches, cheerleaders and media, outnumber
the fans in the stands.
Not a great look, especially compared to just about
every other tournament being held.

That's because we have a huge arena and shitty teams playing in the early rounds.

I've heard that there will be big crowds this weekend though.

Mostly Dayton and VCU fans, with a fair number of Bonnie fans tomorrow.

reef, Ford has a Kellogg type rep....recruits like hell but not a good game coach and has had player issues.....they will be better sure but how much better?

He did win an NIT while at Umass though.

For sure, reef.

38-38 GW-SLU. Titanic struggle. 5 minutes left. Oh the humanity!

GW could pull a Fordham stinker like we did...with the same score with 5 or so minutes left.

At this point, if Dayton comes back to win they will expend so much energy doing so it will be good for us. And if Davidson wins, then its all-in to win this thing, which I'm feeling is more and more the case regardless.
