Fordham came ready to play with a good gameplan.......we showed up at the RC but that's it....that team even though they aren't very good, at least is trying to win the game.

We'll hear from Dan that we weren't ready to play...it's all on the players...they had it all in front of them but threw it away.....

The 2016-17 URI Rams are a fraud....the players and the coach....this has to be as low as it gets since JB's last year.

I would love to start all over again........

This is silly. Who hasn't been critical of Hurley at some point this season? That isn't the point. Overall, the team has had a disappointing season but we are at the end of February and they control their own destiny. To me, just let all the data accumulate then assess where you're at instead of having a knee jerk reaction to everything that happens.

I get what your saying TP but I'm not making that criticism on the basis of a few games. There is a variety of readings I would love to see him gone both based on the technical aspects of the game as well as some aspects of his personality I don't think best represent the school. I've been all set with Hurley since last year. I was hoping to see somewhat of a different Hurley this year with this supposed monster of a team but I haven't. I hope we do go to the tournament somehow and upset a team. At least then some other program might show interest and can pick him up. I frankly just don't like him.

I know there are a million reasons this year sucks.

But EC coming back and really not being able to play the game well anymore has to be the biggest. Who could have expected him to be a liability for half our games?

I assume that anyone that was holding out hope will stop posting scenarios where an at-large bid is still possible? We are officially mathematically eliminated from that nonsense.

I didn't think I could be more embarrassed to be a URI fan than I was after the LaSalle game, but it's hard for me to even remember that now. This is definitely an all-time low, pathetic, embarrassing display tonight.

I don't feel bad for anybody. The whole team was ass tonight. Fuck this team. The one thing I always thought about them was that even if they weren't the most poised, the most clutch, the most skilled, they brought the fight every time. This was a cowardly performance by a bunch of quitters.

coach seems to have lost the team, only explanation for a performance like that.
we can talk about firing dan, but that simply is not an option with the money he is due. So it seems that we are stuck with him, only hope of improvement would be to hire an veteran offensive minded coach as assistant.

cherry on top is PC getting another nice win, if they somehow make the NCAA on a year that was supposed to be our year. what a kick in the nuts that would be

I'm officially done with this pathetic excuse for a team. They mailed it in a long time ago. I would take some of the better Baron-led teams over this team any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Those teams also had low basketball IQ and choked at the end of games, but at least they played like they gave a shit!!

We've all been duped and I'm pissed about it. This team and the head coach are FRAUDS!! Losing to a terrible Fordham team on your home floor is about as low as it gets. Give them credit though, they came to play and we did not. How many times have we said that this year??

Wtf did I just watch ! I'm officially done with this group. Players just simply don't get it done. Dan is fucking pathetic. When he took that timeout at the Dayton game right before half and drew that play for EC ... I literally couldn't believe my eyes. Dan is a HIghschool coach and an average one at best. God bless this program !

EC wide open in the corner at the end. Terrell jacks that thing up at 1:20. Then Dowtin fades away with another.

If I had to guess it is more the coaches + the players looking at each other. When a team is disappointed, players look around and point fingers. Think they can lead better. Play a role better. Question why roles are the way that they are when the team isn't succeeding.

This sucks. Such clowns.
