I'm settled down. I guess my questions are "some evidence" of what? And what is that evidence? If your "evidence" is some missed calls going in favor of VCU, then that is not evidence.

It's amazing how many people on face book think the Super Bowl was rigged....in favor of the Patriots.
I don't know if our refs are favoring certain teams or not. If they are, then we all have another "....gate" to think about. (I'm so sick of that word).

First results of day are in, Richmond in a road win at La Salle, 64-52. The Spiders led most of game and were bolstered by TJ Cline's 21 points. La Salle committed 24 TO's in a game that was not marked by great shooting. Richmond moves ahead of URI in standings with win.

In spite of ourselves we will probably finish no worse than 4th in the conference....the ONLY tiny chance we have to win the tourney is if we get a bye until Friday.

Reviewing Saturday games not previously mentioned. In the A-10:

UMass easily beats St. Joseph's, 87-76.

Fordham loses to George Mason, 73-67. The Metro Rams will come into Ryan Center on Wednesday having lost four of their last five games, but look to capitalize on a URI team that may be sporting a tough Dayton loss hangover. Let's hope not!

VCU surges in second half to beat Davidson, 74-60.

Duquesne loses to Saint Louis, 87-81, and the Dukes now have sole possession of last place in the A-10.

In games involving URI OOC opponents:

Clemson falls at Duke, 64-62..

William & Mary beats Charleston, 89-79.

Houston gets a nice road win at Tulsa, 73-64.

On a last second three, Dartmouth beats Brown to get its first Ivy win, 77-74.

Siena pulls away in second half to beat Marist. 84-77.

Valparaiso beats Youngstown State, 82-72. Alec Peters puts in 22 points.

Old Dominion takes an important road win over UAB, 83-62.

Belmont suffers its first league loss at Tennessee Tech, 83-70.

SMU snaps #11 Cincinnati's 15 game winning streak with a 60-51 victory in Dallas. The Bearcats blew a 9 point lead mid way through the second stanza as SMU went on a 15-0 run. Cincy lost its 3 point scoring touch late to thwart any comeback.

In Sunday's bubble action:

Fifth out Michigan won at Indiana 75-63. It was apparently Michigan's first true road win of the year.

Bubble teams are 46-36 in games I've tracked.
