Probably would have been better for us if St. Joe's won because we play them twice and only play the Bonnie's once

They arguably have the best backcourt in the league, need to contain Adams and Mobley. Keep them under 40 and we should come away with a W.

We usually match up well against guard oriented teams...we have Hass and KI and they don't.........

As long as Hass is healthy and KI plays well that is....which right now they are.

Actually I've been told ticket sales for St Bona resemble the uMass sales.

Same $$ deal applies.

The numbers for the UMass game were surprising given it was during break and came off one of the worst home losses in many years. The fact that it was part of the mini plans and many advance sales tickets were sold made for a big crowd. The SBU game is similar in that it is part of the mini plan on a weekend. Even though it also comes right on the heels of another bad loss, the attendance might be decent.

......ya know, I just don't know what to think anymore.....nothing at all consistent.....the which Rhody team is gonna show up this late in the season is for me troublesome......the slow starts, not ready to play stuff, team not feeling the urgency of the moment or the point in the conference etc are all negatives need to disappear quickly if we are gonna get on some hot streak which is needed to save any opportunity to dance......simply cannot have these kinds of inconsistencies as February approaches......score first......

If they need external motivation we're in trouble. DI athletes playing for a shot at greatness don't need a huge student crowd. They don't need to get motivated by a coach or by a teammate. They play for the thrill of being the best and winning. And they're ready to go from the opening tip.

I dont know if I now look at any of our games as a must win. We have an extremely thin chance to get an at large bid this year despite what our expected RPI is going to end up at.... we've beaten Cincy and absolutely nobody else. We have 4 games remaining against top 100 teams and we're playing some of the worst basketball I've seen from a Ram team in a while. Our path to the NCAA is to get hot during end of February and head into A10 tournament on a roll and win the tournament. The A10 is awful this year so its there for the taking, but I dont know how any fan can have optimism based on what we've seen from the players and coaching staff all year. Must win games come with alot of pressure and you already know the outcome of a game where there is pressure involved.

I've been hard on Jarvis for his play this year. My thoughts are if he's being abused on D by the other teams PG and his shooting is off that game he shouldn't in the last 5min of game. But in my opinion even if his game's off his 20min @ PG are key to us making a late season DANCE run.

St Bonaventure has gone to two NCAA Tournaments since URI last danced in 1999. It is just not fair that Rhody has to compete against schools such as SBU that have all the advantages over URI.

SBU has a beautiful state of the art arena
SBU lavishly spends on athletics and succeeds in nearly all its sports
SBU is situated in the large and important metro Olean, NY region
SBU pays their staff huge salaries
SBU competes in one of the best basketball conferences in the nation
SBU is located in a fertile recruiting area
The weather in Olean, NY is great
SBU has a very large and diverse campus population

SBU with all these advantages has an easy route to the NCAA. Rhody fans just don't understand how hard it is to succeed at a place like URI.

Not definitely playing, but it's possible. In any case, I'd think he'll be back pretty soon.

Important match up. All of them are but this one is too. Pull the Bonnies down in the standings. Push ourselves up. Take care of home court and quiet Clean, NY. Assert URI as a contender.

Iverson has been playing better the past few weeks.

This team needs it all to be put together. Freely share the ball.

Just find a way to win. A loss here and the train is completely off the tracks. My biggest concern is guys checking out and if that happens then there will be no hope of winning the a10 tournament down the stretch.

Yeah get back to embracing the pace and sharing the ball. Like they did against Saint Louis and St Joes, and the first half against Dayton.
But they lost and just boo hoo'd and forgot about the progress they made.
I think this is going to be tough.
The Bonnie's are going to be fired up.
Are we?
I can easily see him coming out firing and getting a big lead early if we pussy foot out there.
